All these years I thought Eastern NS was the Yarmouth end.

And yes, I've lived all my 36 years in the Maritimes.

LOL, we just moved to this area last year and are getting used to the regional designations--we live in New Glasgow, which I'd probably call Northern or maybe Central, and CB would be eastern, but apparently CB is simply CB.

I think Pictou County is considered NorthEastern NS.

I think north east might be right. Truro is in central NS, I live 25 miles north of Truro, and I think we are considered northern ns. I guess we never think about the exact area designation. If you find any good air fares from Halifax I would lov to know. I keep checking for next April and they are all about $800 a ticket. That really puts the price of a vacation up. Maybe there will be some good prices once they start the US pre-clearance in October.
