So rumour has it that the standardized drink menu at WDW has recently be changed or updated.

Is this true?

Does anybody have any more information about the new drinks or have you tried any?

I do not like standardized menus in general but at least they're mixing it up I guess!

TIA!

No replies I see - does this mean that this was just a rumour and the drink menu has not changed?

How recently? We were there mid-November...I sure think it was the same menu as September, May, and January. Heck, I think it was the same as last year, for that matter. Same beverages I had as last year anyway...like the magical fusion cocktail (with the blue glow cube) and pina colava, etc. I'll be there January 7, on Deluxe for 4 nights so will be at several restaurants...will be sure to give it a good look.

There was something on the Disney Park Blog about this a month or so ago

Yep, there is a new drinks menu but it looked great to me. They were making a big deal of the fact that everything would be freshly mixed and they were using many Organic ingredients and fruit juices as natural sweetners

Can't wait to sample a few for myself

I just got back and saw the new drink menu all over WDW. I took pictures of it for the boards because I knew you guys would be wondering about it. I haven't had a chance to upload photos yet, so when I do, I will post the new drink menu.

It is standardized in almost every restaurant/lounge, but it is a fairly large and varied selection.

I only tried one drink from it because I loved it so much I couldn't order anything else the rest of my trip! It was called a Red Grape Sensation - red grape hibiscus vodka, cranberry juice, lime juice, agave nectar, and soda water. It was soooooo good.

Interesting, we seemed to get the old standard menu everywhere we went. I know Coral Reef, 50's Prime etc. had the usual glow cube drink, etc. I had the same drinks as prior trips.

So there is truth to the rumour! I'm very excited to see the pictures!

At least if they're going to bore us with the same menu at every meal that is good that they're "mixing" it up. lol

:rotfl:
