So surprised! Mission Space was my favorite ride!!

Just back and after ridding EE, TofT, RnRC, and MS, I've decided that Mission Space is now my favorite ride at Disney! And, I almost didn't ride it!! I'd read so much about it making you sick and then all of the warnings while standing in line just about scared me off, but I went anyway and I am so glad I did. It was awesome! I'm not sure what all of the fuss is about. The teacups will ruin my whole day, but Mission Space isn't spinny like that. It is just an awesome ride. My children thought it was great also and my son gets sick on spinny rides, but not MS. So now RnRC will have to take a back-seat to Mission space as my favorite ride at Disney.



PS-I loved EE too, but it's not my favorite. Probably my third favorite after MS and RnRC.

My DH and I would really like to try MS but chicken out every time because of the reports when it first opened. MY DS would also like to try but I'm just not sure. DD doesn't want anything to do with it!

Which just goes to show, there is no substitute for trying something for yourself. One mans Mission Space is another mans Stitch! I'm pleased you loved it. Me, I wouldn't go on it again if George Clooney was offering to sit with me and hold my hand. Naked! (him not me) The thing is folks you can ask as many times as you like"Will I like this?" or ""Is that any good?" but at the end of the day only you can know for sure-I hate rollercoasters but love Space Mountain-now if Swooney Clooney wants to accompany me on there.......

I'm with you! My princes loved it sooo much. It is probably their favorite ride in Epcot. As for me, not liking closed spaces, I rode it with my eyes closed and prayed for it to end as soon as possible!! And then you read reviews about it breaking down and being in the dark,on your back , for 20 minutes!!!OMG!!!!!!

It's my favorite too! I listened to all the warnings, but thought the concept sounded so cool, I had to try it. I let my imagination go and was blown away by this ride. Can't wait to ride again!

I'm trying to decide if I am going to go on this ride. I chickened out on going on TOT when I was in Disneyland because I don't like the feeling of dropping and I hate elevators to begin with. LOL Is this ride anything like TOT is there any drops or is there just the blast off part (shooting up, which I'm not sure I will like either)?

It's a combination centrifuge and motion simulator - no drops involved (of course the landing simulates dropping a few thousand feet, but there is no actual vertical movement involved).
