Hello,

So sorry for yet another Kindle fire q.

I got my kindle fire last night and love it. I went App crazy last night, then I just had a thought about getting this huge bill next month?

I downloaded tons of free apps, but on some I noticed they are free for a trial period then so much a month. I don't know which ones are really free forever, which are trial ones, which trials are 1 month or 3 months etc. Since the fire is linked to my cc info on amazon do they auto bill you at the end of the trial or do they let you know that app is about to expire the trial period and ask if you want to buy it before billing???

I am soo hoping they let you know before the trial is over and give you the option to buy and not auto bill you. If so, I am in huge trouble next month or in 3 months when some of them suddenly start billing.

Thanks,
shelly :)

I actually just got a Kindle Fire for my mother in law and was looking at it yesterday so I could prepare to help her :)

I got an email from Amazon Prime that stated you would not be charged:

About your free month of Amazon Prime
You can use your benefits on compatible mobile devices as well as Amazon.com. Your Prime benefits will end when your free month is complete
and you will not be charged.

Hope this helps,
Heather

That though is for Amazon Prime, not for the trials for apps or magazines which is what the OP is asking about. I would not assume that it would be the same.

OP, it should say somewhere one way or another. I know on the Nook you are charged if you don't cancel before your trial is complete, but that wording is on the website.

You're right - I apologize. I assumed it was about the Amazon Prime membership since that appears to be the most asked question :)

Thanks,
Heather
