So we booked FD at the WL for 9/22-9/27 and upgraded to Deluxe Dining but I am so nervous that I won't get the ADR's that I want. I'll be calling at 7:00 on the dot on my 90 days out but how hard do you think it will be to get these. I'll write my opinions next to them:

Breakfast:
Chef Mickeys (prob impossible)
1900 Park Fare (might be doable)
Crystal Palace (most likely)
Kona Cafe (not nervous about this)

Dinner:
Ohanas (praying because this is my fave)
Kona (doubt there will be a problem)
Cali Grill (early - not trying to see the fireworks)
Narcooses (prob be somewhat easy)
Yachtsman Steakhouse (prob be easy)

So what do you think? I have backups but I'm hoping that I don't have to go to that list!!!

Don't be nervous. I'd say be nervous if you were calling three days after the mark, but you're calling 7am on the dot. I don't think Chef Mickey's will be impossible for you, either. Remember to be flexible... maybe have a little bit of a later breakfast or eariler dinner, things like that. Also, remember it's not the end of everything if you don't get the perfect ADRs, you're still going to Disney World!:wizard:

I am sure you will be fine. Especially since you are calling the earliest that you can. Good luck, and I sure you will be fine. I always have back up places in mind when I book, and if for some reason you can't get what you want, you could always try calling back every now and then to see if anything has opened up. It is best not to stress, and just try to have fun planning for your wonderful trip!

As PP have said, don't stress over it. Even if you aren't able to get your choice of ADRs at first just keep checking. Personally, I change/make ADR right up to, and inc., the time we are there. We've always had a place to eat and have never gone hungry. :rotfl2:Plus we've had some really good meals.

My problem when I make ADRs is that while we'll be there for 10 nights, we won't spend every day in the parks. So I have to make many of our ADRS at non-park restaurants. That we if we don't go into a park that day, we can still eat. However, I will look at EMH p.m. hours and may choose a location at that park for that night.

When our plans change, I do call to cancel. Sometimes it is the same day. Last year I cancelled LTT during MNSSHP since we didn't go to MNSSHP or any of the parks that day. When I cancelled it in the a.m. the CM said "Are you sure?" She couldn't believe I was cancelling. :confused3I said yes, and I hoped it would make some guests day. :goodvibes

So, keep checking, you never know what will open up. Looks like the only one you are really worried about is CM-so I would start with that one when you call.

Good luck. We'll be there part of the time you are there-see ya around the world!

I would think you would be fine. I did the free dining the last 2 years and got everything I wanted. (the ones on your list that we ate at were CM, Park Fare, CP, Kona and 'Ohana) The window was 180 days then and each time I called at about 120. The vast majority of your list are restaurants in the MK area so I'm assuming they are not tied to park days and therefore could be interchangable. Unless you are dead set on days and exact times, I would think you'd be O.K.:thumbsup2

It will be fine :) I didn't have a problem last year with anything except a Le Cellier dinner ressie (got lunch though). I didn't even call on my first available booking day! If it comes down to it you can keep checking back to see if anything opens up or look on the ADR's up for grabs thread. I got both Coral Reef & Ohana just by checking the Disboards.

I think you will be fine! Ask for 'OHana and Chef Mickey's first if those are the two you are most worried about. Let us know how it goes! :thumbsup2

I was just thinking the same thing. Start with Chef Mickeys right at 7. I think you will be fine also. Have a great time!
