Let the packing begin!!!!! 7 days for me.
I am looking forward to your trip, too, so we can get 'live' pictures!
I can totally see Brooklynn doing that Animal Kingdom job!

That little girl sure loves her animals, doesn't she?
She does. She and I love to just watch the animals on the trails and read about all the details. She would have a Rafiki's Planet Watch in her backyard, if she could. You should see her in a store trying to decide which new plush friend to bring home. It's funny, but it hurts at the same time. She wants them all.
She really does. She has been asking for a bearded dragon lately. I told her when she switches rooms with Sophie and isn't sharing with Bella anymore we would talk about it. So for now she is carrying around a rubber one she has named Lizzie.
I feel like animals are her calling as she really seems to understand the whole circle of life thing. She is sad that things die but she gets that sometimes that is just what happens and sometimes it is better for the animal.
I need to start saving money now for the visits I will be making when she is doing the College Program at Animal Kingdom.
Aw Jill, that is really sweet. It sounds like she really has a calling.
And she looks pretty cute in a safari hat, too, so she will be a perfect AK worker!
That's great! Brooklynn is a lot like Sarah. Sarah loves animals too - but she's said that she would have a hard time being a veterinarian because of the possibility of having to put down an animal, even though she knows it the right thing sometimes. She says she'd be too sad. She's pretty emotional, but she might overcome that fear as she matures. I think she'd be great - she's so compassionate. We have a dog who's almost 7, and hopefully he'll stick around long enough for her to mature, and we'll see what happens then...
We haven't been to the RFC at the Mall of America for a while, but the kids love it. I find it a bit noisy...then again, I'm old.
We'll have to watch and see what these incredible girls grow up to be. Whatever they choose, they will be awesome, I know!
Rainforest is noisy, but for us, it has the Disney connection, so it feels vacationish. (My computer is telling me vacationish is not a word

) The kids enjoy it, the food is pretty good, although a bit over-priced, and the lava cake is scrumptious! I'm not a big solid chocolate person, but the taste and texture of that cake along with the vanilla ice cream is an excellent combination.
Hi MeMom! I've been a longtime lurker (I remember when your current report was Brooklyn Takes Bella To Meet Cinderella) and thought I would finally come out of my lurkdom and legit join you on your report. I love your pictures of everything you see and do. Your sweet little girls are so adorable

Can't wait to read more
We are very happy to have you join the conversation. It's always interesting to know what makes people finally come out of lurking. Sometimes it is a picture of a favorite resort or maybe a story of some event that they have done or want to do. What made you decide to 'take the plunge'?
Thanks for the comment on the girls. I adore them, of course, and I ache to be with them when I don't see them for 2-3 weeks. I don't want to intrude on Jill's and John's weekends, though, so I hold back from making myself a permanent fixture on their doorstep at the end of every week. I love talking to them on the phone and hearing about their swimming lessons or what's going on at school, but it makes me want to jump through the phone and grab them up with big hugs and smooches!
Love all the pictures of POP and Art. I'm hoping to stay at Art if we are able to go in Oct/Nov. I'm also hoping we'll get to go in Oct/Nov, but since Disney Grace is due to make her arrival on October 1 it's really up in the air.
The girls are adorable. Brooklynn is clearly loving being the big sister and getting to hold Sophie.
Brooklynn loves, loves, loves her Sophie!
Maybe if you have the baby a week early, you'll feel raring and ready to go for a November trip. You could always talk to the doctor about it. I am sure he/she will be perfectly agreeable to scheduling your baby to fit with your Disney trip schedule!
Are you really naming her Disney? Fun! I have heard people change the letters and called their daughters Sidney in honor of Disney, but she will be the first real Disney I have known! I guess if she had been a boy, you could have called her Wil, after Wilderness Lodge, where it all
truly started, right?

With three October babies on the way, I am beginning to think that all a couple has to do is to see each other from across the room, and that the fountain does the rest of the work!
More lovely early morning pictures. There's something about the way the sun is beginning to shine and the place is slowly coming to life that always gets me excited for our next trip - however far in the future it may be.
For me one of the best vacation feelings is that moment when you set foot out of the door for the first time each morning - especially if you can be out and about whilst everything is still quiet.
I like to take advantage of the fact that little girls are happy to be up and dressed early at the moment because I'm guessing once they're teenagers we might have to negotiate rope drops vs. lie-ins
The sun shining on a new Disney morning is a happy thing.

The whole day is ahead, ready to be filled with so many different options and activities. For me, it is nice to start out with some quiet moments thanking God for the opportunity of being in that place at that time.
Brooklynn is not a morning person already, so she will probably not be a rope drop person when she is a teenager. She is a lot better than she used to be, but still, if she has her choice, she'll sleep in until her body is ready to wake up, and she'll do it in her own sweet time. Bella wakes up with a smile and is ready to tackle the day in a matter of seconds. Sometimes she and I go out and about while we are waiting for the others to come to life. Those are sweet times for me just to spend with her.
