So Much To Celebrate - LIFE and Sophie Kate!

:lmao: I thought I was the only one that did that :lmao: It's a lot quicker than making your way through a ton of menus!

I absolutely do. After I have already hit 1 then 5 then 4 then 6 then 5 again then 2 then hold then this then that....

I push something that is not an option.
The next thing I hear are those beautiful words, "Let me connect you to a customer service representative."
And I'm like :cool1:, 'cuz that's what I wanted in the first place!

When I know I have to deal with a person to get my problem solved I always do that. :rotfl2:

When this survey pops up it is push one to do the survey and push 2 to skip.

Usually I am not listening and don't push anything but this time I actually pushed 2 since I didnt really have the time to be on the phone that long. Well guess what, I was on the phone longer than I ever have been. :rotfl2:

The joke was on me. :lmao:

Always push 1 for the survey. You get connected much faster. Then just hang up. Just don't tell them I told you to do that.....:rolleyes1

I usually do since at work we are so survey driven. But sometimes either the survey doesn't connect or by the time I am done with the call I just forget and hang up anyway. From now on I will always survey. :)

I totally agree with you all about the survey. I have always thought it connects you faster. I hit 2 yesterday and waited 10 minutes. I did not get a cash reservation.:( I knew it was a long shot. Oh well, can't complain since I do travel a lot. :lmao:

Subscribing to this thread has made me want to see so much more of my favorite place on earth:thumbsup2. We have a few days in WDW before we go on our first Disney cruise in September. How am I going to fit all these side trips in? And, fit in my cousin's family who live in Orlando? Oh, goodness, I think some careful planning can get it all done.

So far, I have added::)
Seeing Yahoo Bob
Seeing Art of Animation
Seeing Port Orleans
SHOPPING

Thanks for all the great inspiration:littleangel:

Goodness I am so far behind! I just read through the AoA tour. What wonderful pictures MeMom! :thumbsup2 I want to stay there for sure sometime.

Are you feeling better now? Sorry to hear you have been sick. I've been MIA from the Dis for a bit. It's hard to be here sometimes with no trip in the future. My sister is getting married this year and all of us are in the wedding in some way so that's where all of our extra money seems to be going. I'm so excited for her! But of course, missing Disney is just in my blood. :sad2:

Going back to get more caught up! And I'll try to get a trip installment out today or tomorrow for sure!

So glad you are feeling better!!

I loved the AOA pics. I have 10 days booked there for the kids and me in August. Cant wait!! Of course no discount covers the regular rooms but I promised the kids... and of course I am dying to stay there lol.:cool1:

So next weekend is my DD and I's rescheduled Bday with a weekend trip to WDW . First time there on mother's day!!

Also, my disney hating husband is coming along. (who hates crowds, lines and heat) so hopefully it will be a smooth sailing type of trip. pixiedust:pixiedust: Need lots of pixie dust for him. The only park he sort of likes is Epcot and DD has picked MK for our Sat. Thinking of do a quick run through EPCOT to see the flowers on Sun before we drive home.

Have a great weekend! counting down until the pirate dinner as well. So much to be grateful for!

I just fainted. POTC is not a favorite? LOL. That is why there something for everyone.
Nice pics from the train.
Wilderness Lodge is so beautiful.
Love the Little mermaid pics. We are staying there for 3 nights in December.
I cannot believe no one stayed in the room. Nice pics though.
I love the Lion King shirt.
I love Landscapes of Flavor. That surf and surf burger is so good.
Great pics walking around AofA. Disney should hire you for promotions and publicity. Your pics would lure them all in.
I am now all caught up again. Loved the updates and pics.

See the wealth of knowledge DIS people are? ;)
I have always figured that I would be better off agreeing to take surveys, in case the person I am talking to is aware. I figure I will get decent service. I don't always follow through on the survey, but most of the time I do. I definitely do if they are exceptionally nice.

Just make the Orlando relatives come over and hang out with you on your Disney adventures. That way you can multi-task. :thumbsup2

Tomorrow will be one week, and I am almost normal again. I gave myself an 83% yesterday and 91% today. :goodvibes

You just need to have your people get married in Disney World, of course! :woohoo:

We will be excited for you and all who are going to Disney World this month! :dance3: When you get back, we'll start being excited with all of the June trippers - which includes us! :yay: We are excited about Vero and the Pirate meal, too!

I enjoyed the pasta bowl I got at AoA in March. Jill loves the breakfasts there.

Disney photographer? I would love that job!

There is something for everyone. ::yes:: I'd rather see Carousel of Progress than hang out with Pirates, and I'd rather walk a trail to see tigers than ride through Mt. Everest. It is awesome that the have rides, shows, and attractions for every taste. :) That's one of the huge reasons that makes it a good place for all family trips.

I got back to the room and took care of the girls while Jill got a shower and got ready.

Look at this sweet little baby head.

Duuude, you're back!

and decided to go on to the bus stop and eat somewhere later.

Random sticker picture. I guess we got it at a checkout counter or something. I don't recall.

The trees were pretty, but you can't tell so much from this picture.

Oct2012Middle974.jpg

Lookie, lookie - it's a tiggerific kind of park! :tigger:

Oct2012Middle975.jpg

Yes, I know that is a lion, but lionific just didn't work. :sad2:

In Rainforest Cafe. Brooklynn loves to shop here. She would take one of every animal if she could. She wants her room to look like Rainforest Cafe, to be honest.

That's it for tonight. Heading to bed soon. More Animal Kingdom tomorrow night or Saturday morning.
Good night, DIStown!

That was one crowded food court!!!!

I haven't been to a Rainforest in 20 years...didn't even know they had a shop.

Great animal pictures.

Love the baby head. :goodvibes

I love a sweet baby head! :)

The Crush picture is TOTALLY SWEET! :) Great shot!

I do love Animal Kingdom - I think it's tied with Epcot as my fav park.

Glad to hear you're feeling better!

This picture just looks so inviting and "real". I don't know how else to put it. It's peaceful, just enough to put you at the resort, but not on overload.

It reminds me of our very first trip to WDW, many moons ago.

Glad you are feeling better now! :thumbsup2

Your pineapple popsicle sounds lovely right about now .... it's hot in my house tonight and I can't seem to go to sleep.

Mmmm, love the softness and smell of "new" baby heads. Adorable and cute!

Ms Anita Wig'd is right, I can totally put myself into that POP pic and it feels amazing!

We always leave AK through the Rainforest Cafe. Our tradition.
Lexi usually finds some kind of animal she has to have and she always gets an Icee in the souvenir cup to go.
A nice cool treat to enjoy while waiting for the bus.
This past trip we each got the pillows shown in your pics.
I got the green frog one and Lexi got the pink parrot one.
Made awesome pillows for the plane. I'll never fly again without it. :)
I bought those ape boxers for Aaron. He has quite the collection now from there.

I was excited to see the new Disney Dooney & Bourke bags that are coming out this summer.
I have to have one!
Have you seen the new Disney Vera Bradley ones that will be out this fall?
I bet Ms Anita will be getting one. ;)

Wow that food court was crowded!!!

Love all the Pop pictures.

I love shopping at AK also. I always find lots & lots there that I would love to have. Have to control myself!!:)

Happy Friday!! Packing this weekend!!:cool1:

Well, you just don't know what you've been missing, Miss Kathy! Rainforest Cafe gift shops have all kinds of fun little creatures looking for permanent families, lots of fun educational toys and books, and of course, the number one all-time favorite souvenir --- t-shirts! I got the girls RFC Orlando t-shirts on the March trip. They are so much more exciting, in my opinion, than RFC Nashville. Although I will not 'diss' our RFC, as I am am extremely happy that we have one of the few in the United States. :thumbsup2

Even the back of Sophie's head looks so much like Jill when she was a baby. Now that she has filled out, her head is a little rounder than Jill's was, but other than that, she is pretty much the spitting image of her Mommy.

This is the one week mark, and my stomach is still inviting very little food to come along for a ride. And it has to be bland. And it doesn't stay long. :crazy2: Good thing is, I am pretty sure I have lost a couple of pounds since last Friday. :)

Yeah, sometimes it is the 'nothing' pictures that can really make you feel like you are there. ::yes::

Your very first Disney trip? I think you owe us a story on that. ::yes:: Was the first one the beginning of your madness? ;)

My first trip was the year Disney World opened, but I was a Disney fan from when I was way small. Did you get a thrill when it was time for a Wonderful World of Color show like I did?

Glad you are feeling better now! :thumbsup2

Surely you jest! :rotfl:
You know she'll be getting at least a dozen!

Yes, AK merchandise is a weakness with me, as well. Luckily, my pocketbook dictates what I buy, and that keeps me in check (kind of a pun, huh?) in a big way.

Happy packing! :dance3:

She really does. She has been asking for a bearded dragon lately. I told her when she switches rooms with Sophie and isn't sharing with Bella anymore we would talk about it. So for now she is carrying around a rubber one she has named Lizzie.

I feel like animals are her calling as she really seems to understand the whole circle of life thing. She is sad that things die but she gets that sometimes that is just what happens and sometimes it is better for the animal.
