So Much To Celebrate - LIFE and Sophie Kate!

What a great update on B. I will say a prayer for him and his family! How unexpected and scary!

Great update and great photos MeMom! I'm glad you all had such a fun family weekend! :)

Break time at Field Day. We are in the room for one hour for rest and lunch. The kids are all playing their favorite games, and I am Dising. :goodvibes

First off, prayers to the families that need them, hurrah for positive signs/news, and congratulations on the various milestones achieved! Whew!! There has been a lot going on in DIS Town and I only went back a few pages!

Love all of the new Fantasyland pictures!! I cannot wait to explore it in October. I remember that story of your picture with Gaston...what a character!! :rotfl:

It has been a busy couple of weeks. This morning, they are speculating that B might have a form of meningitis.

It was so cool to have new things to photograph. :thumbsup2

Busy weekend here so had lots to catch up on.

Sounds like "B" is improving but still will be sending prayers. They need to find out what is going on with him especially if he is still having seizure activity!!

Love the pics of the NFL.:goodvibes Yeah DH & I waited about a half hour for Under the Sea. After the ride DH says "We waited for that"?? :) It was new & glad we rode it but yeah probably not again for a while. I loved the queue though. I think we got a lot of the same pics.

Enjoy your last week!

They are saying he may have meningitis this morning. I guess that is what they are discerning from the spinal tap.

Luckily, we've not wasted any time waiting too long. for Under the Sea. On the first day, it was worth the little waiting we did. The second time, we walked right on. I'm with you - the queue is a big part of the attraction.

Good morning! Love the pictures. I do agree that it is not a must do ride. It is cute but I actually like the queue better than the ride. The boys like it. We had a rain soaked weekend that ruined all our plans. No Little League games or golf for us. I am going to be in panic mode this week between work, end of school stuff for the boys, Little League, packing and cleaning house. Have a great day!

We need to send over the DIStown maid service to help you out this week. ::yes::

I'm glad you got to spend the weekend with your family. It sounds like a fun, busy one.

I was not a huge fan of the new Fantasyland. :faint: I don't really know why. I do think the circus part is REALLY cute.

The Belle merchandise is another story though, I love all of it. My daughter would love to have one (or more) of each. Her dad and I watched Beauty and the Beast on our first date, so I guess it is in her blood. ;) I would love for her to use the music from Beauty and the Beast in her wedding one day but I don't think it would be very nice to her chosen one.

I think I like the Storybook Circus stuff better, as well. I do love the movie of Beauty and the Beast, and I enjoy seeing the show at Hollywood Studios. I kind of wish that show was a little longer.

Jill had all Disney music in her wedding. It was just the music - no words - and it was soft and beautiful. I'm sure a lot of people didn't even realize some of it was Disney music.

We told Brandi she should use Beauty and the Beast at her wedding, and we would totally understand and accept the Beast part. ;)

Love the pics! :goodvibes

Thanks. I love taking them. :)

popcorn:: joining in popcorn::

Glad to have you! :welcome:

That is great news about "B"....I pray he has a full recovery. :goodvibes

What Disney on Ice show did the girls see? I luv how they squealed with excitement. :)

Oh wow, you are so lucky to be able to eat at Red Robin!
The food is awesome! Haven't been there in awhile since the closest one is 3 hrs away.
We had plans to eat there on Mothers's Day but we were too full from the brunch.
My favorite is the Whisky River Chicken Burger. Yumm!

Lexi has this crazy fascination with the Statue of Liberty.

I'm just now getting over the hump to feeling better after being in bed since Thursday with some cold/flu.
Luckily it's a holiday here today so I don't miss any more work.

I enjoyed your pics of Fantasyland.
I love all the new elements they added and they will all be must do's for us from now on. ::yes::

I think she said it was called Dare to Dream.

I like to try something different every time I go to Red Robin. I had the 'Shroom burger this time. The nushrooms were good, but the burger was dry, and it would have been better with some mayo.

I loved the Little Mermaid ride!! I thought it was absolutely fantastic! Everything about it including the queue was awesome!! The kids were just transfixed by it all and we rode it 5 times (there was no line at all)!! I would have ridden it more but others wanted to do other things. I'm excited to go on it again! :). I think it will probably be a solo trip for me next year so I will be able to ride it as much as I want! It was always one of my favourite movies and its nice to have more of it!

One more day down, and it's been a doozie!
I was putting away a surge protector in the teacher's office and as I opened the door to the closet 9 heavy hard plastic tote trays fell down on my head from their storage spot high near the ceiling. It almost knocked me out. The office is glass windows so we can see the kids, so several of the students saw what happened and rushed back to see if I was okay. I ended up in the front office of the school with an ice pack and instructions to see a Doc if I get to feeling worse....

Anyway, two and a half days left with kids and a half day to work, then we are free!!! :cheer2:

I'm with the rest of you on VOTLM. I won't wait for it...

Oh Anita..... Take care of yourself and any strange symptoms please head to the ER. A whack on the head is nothing to mess around with.

Hope you are okay Anita! Please watch your symptoms.
Praying for everyone in OK. I cannot watch the coverage. It breaks my heart. It is too much.

What a great update on B. I will say a prayer for him and his family! How unexpected and scary!

Great update and great photos MeMom! I'm glad you all had such a fun family weekend! :)

I hope the news continues to get better and better. They said he was able to tell them when his birthday was today. I don't know exactly how much talking he is doing, but any talking is a positive sign!

Next weekend should be fun, too. The girls are coming Friday night. If the weather is good, we're planning to go to the zoo Saturday. After church Sunday, we're going to the mall. Monday, we'll stay home until Jill comes and we meet Marc and Anita for an early dinner.

I think I might ride it twice in a row with no line, but that would do it for me. I like the movie (and the music) a lot. It's one we watch pretty often here.

This is no way to end a school year! Do what everyone says - take it easy and call the doctor if you get a gut feeling that anything is wrong. ::yes::

Anita, hope you are ok...

My friend who u actuality met up with t Disney in Feb is in Moore, OK. Took about 4 hours to hear news but try are OK. They don't know about thir house yet but don't really care t this point. I'm praying for all affected.

Glad to hear "B" is doing better, praying for continued improvement!

Anita, my dear - rest up and feel good! A head injury is no way to start a vacation!

I'd ride VOTLM again, I probably won't wait more than 15-20 minutes, but that's true for most rides in my mind! I would definitely do it at least once more to see more details.

Sounds like a fun weekend planned MeMom! We're not doing too much. DH's big 5-0 is Friday, so we will do a little something Sat. night with his sister. Got lots of gardening work to do and some painting too!

Hoping the weather is nice - NO more storms!!! Keeping OK in my prayers too!

Thank you so much for the well wishes and concern.
I'm not feeling too bad, just an ever so slight headache.
Baylor's final Middle School musical Variety Show was this evening so we attended, couldn't miss that.

Now it's time that I called it a night.
There is no way I can miss my final days in 2nd grade.

So true. A house can be repaired or rebuilt. They are safe, and that it all we need to know to rejoice!

Happy Birthday to your birthday 'boy'! :bday:
Gardening and painting? Is this really what was on his wish list???

We will get on rides that list anywhere up to 30 minutes, usually, because 30 is hardly ever really 30.

I watched Baylor's video clip. Tell him they did a very nice job. There was a lot of work that went on behind that. :thumbsup2

Hope that headache is gone when you wake up.

Just wanted to acknowledge all of the Oklahoma families who are facing the first day of life without their children. The pain they are waking up to this morning is excruciating. They sent their babies to school yesterday morning in a routine way, I'm sure. Half eaten bowls of cereal, forgotten homework, toothpaste on mouths, excited about their summer plans.... Who knew the hugs and goodbyes would be the last ones? We need to learn from this tragedy. Don't stress over the spilled milk or grass-stained clothes, and try to tolerate the song being sung for the 43rd time in the back seat as you drive. Every minute with our little ones is a gift - the loud moments, the messy moments, the annoying moments. Our DIS kids are very blessed to have such loving, giving, caring, sharing parents. Treasure this day, all.

Ok Memom, you just made me cry at my computer at work. You are so right. I was thinking about that when I watched the news last night. I cried and could not watch much. It hits close to home. I went in and kissed my babies again while they slept. I really try not to get caught up with the frustration and it is times like this when you realize how precious they are.

So very well said, my friend. We never know what tomorrow brings. We have DIS friends who live in Moore, Oklahoma, and I can't even imagine what those people are going through.

So True Memom.
I spent time with each of my children last night, expressing my love.
Its all so tragic.

Did you guys see the lady who discovered her missing dog while she was talking to a reporter. She held it together better than I did, I think!

After coming up from under the sea, we headed back down into it again.

These people couldn't decide if they wanted to go in or not. I think they finally moved aside, and we went on ahead.

These light fixtures should have been made into fans. I think this queue is going to get really warm in the summer.

The girls visiting with Ariel.

And back outside.

At Maurice's cart, you could purchase this. I got a regular popcorn bucket - not for the popcorn, as I am not a big fan, but for the bucket itself. The girls and I think maybe John ate some of the popcorn.

Inside Gaston's Tavern again. This time, we decided to get a little something to eat.

This bad boy was three meals' worth of meat!

There is a cup of LeFou's Brew. I don't care for apple juice, so it wasn't something I cared about.

This goes to the front counter area.

I use antlers in all of my decorating...

That's all for tonight. Hope you have had a good day.
