So Much To Celebrate - LIFE and Sophie Kate!

While John and the girls rode Barnstormer a few times, I took pictures.

Very nicely done water play area.

This puts out lots of water. You won't just get a little wet; you'll get really wet. ::yes::

One of many Ha Ha Girls we would see throughout the trip.

The sky was looking a little dark at this point.

I would love to see Main St in October!!! Maybe someday, but for now I will just enjoy your pictures. :goodvibes

Yay for Sophie's first ride!!

I love the fall decorations! I really want to go this fall. I will have to see if we can swing a trip around football. I fell in love with Big Top Souvenirs at our last trip. The stuff is so cute in there and I love the treat area.
Yay for Sophie's first ride. Very fitting that it was IASW.

I have to agree... Main Street in October is really a sight to be seen. In fact I think the fall decorations are my favorite!

Can't wait to see the evolution of pictures of Sophie on It's a Small World. She will be intrigued soon enough!

Those ha ha girls... they have a way of showing up everywhere! Such a cute term!

LOVE the popcorn pin displays. Adorable!!!

Hope you are feeling better!!

I am so confused! Your dates were just before ours I think and you managed to find storybook circus merchandise that we didn't see. Oh well, nice to know it really is there and apparently my search and find abilities were off.

Fun start! the Mickey pumpkins make me smile every time.

I can't wait for the new Snow White ride. One, because I think it will be a great ride and second, the construction in the middle of new fantasyland is very distracting.

I have never eaten at Pinnochios and now whenever I hear it, I think of our band director who didn't want to wait in the 45 minute line for Be Our Guest and said let's just go to Pinnochios. Ate you kidding me??? Needless to say, we stood in line :)

Someday, we will see those fall decorations again :)

I love MK in the fall! Storybook Circus looks fun! Sophie looks like she enjoyed her first ride.

Hope you are feeling better!

I love all the colors on Main Street, so pretty! All the treats look so yummy. I would have a hard time making my mind up.popcorn::

I really enjoy the fall decor at MK. It's pretty and festive without being too much.

Did Sophie get her first pin for her first trip?
She looks rather content with IASW being her first ride. Is it a tradition that all three girls have done it first?
What's with Brooklynn having a park map? She must know her way around the park without it! ;)

You are so right that Sophie seems oblivious to the charms of IASW. She only has eyes for her mommy.
Is it just me, or did that Ursula look more like Phyllis Diller than usual? Ha ha girl, indeed!
The fall decorations look even nicer to me now, since we skipped our usual early fall trip last year. But I must say, I like the Christmas festoonery even better! What can I say, I'm a sucker for sparkly lights. Thankfully, I don't have to pick one favorite season. Disney World is always beautiful and magical.

Main St in October

Brings back wonderful happy memories, tears as we walked in and so it for the first time. It was a lovely time of the year to go.

Hope you are starting to feel much better now Memom.

Take good care of yourself please.

You would love it! The fall colors give it a whole new 'vibe'.

We're doing a Storybook Circus theme for Sophie's first birthday - carnival-ish decor, food, and games with the magical Disney touch. :)

I hope you get to go in the fall. Not caring one way or the other about football, I would take a Disney trip over that any day!

Sophie will be a lot more aware on her April trip. I am sorry that I will miss seeing the wonder in her eyes, but Jill will send lots of pictures to make me smile.

The popcorn displays were cute. I wonder why they did not have popcorn fabric made, though, instead of using flowers.

I don't know - the stuff was just there in plain sight when I was there. I will probably be making some purchases on this trip, since it will be my last trip to Magic Kingdom before Sophie's one year birthday party.

Yes, the Mickey pumpkins are the best!

I thought the same thing about them placing it in the middle of everything, yet having it open last. I guess that was the only way it could be done, but it is a mess.

On the day we open Magic Kingdom, I plan to be in line for an early Be Our Guest lunch. ::yes::

I love MK in the fall! Storybook Circus looks fun! Sophie looks like she enjoyed her first ride.

Hope you are feeling better!

I'm down to sniffles and a sore throat. Can't even qualify that as sick, in my book. Doing fine, thank you! :thumbsup2

The girls love Storybook Circus for their beloved Barnstormer. They have become addicts!

I love all the colors on Main Street, so pretty! All the treats look so yummy. I would have a hard time making my mind up.popcorn::

That is a very good predicament to be in - not knowing which glorious treat to have! :goodvibes

Yes, Jill gets pins for every occasion. I don't think she has started Sophie's board yet, though or at least I don't recall seeing it. I will ask her.

Brooklynn's first ride was Dumbo, and Bella's first was Peter Pan.

You know kids and maps. Makes them feel big. ;) She is certainly a tour guide in her own right. However, with the new additions, she will have to readjust her Magic Kingdom usual paths.

She does adore her Mommy!

Ursula is very Phyllis Diller looking, for sure! Good call.

I totally understand. Skipping Christmas last year will make this coming Christmas ever more exciting! :santa: I don't know why my stupid bank account won't let me have one trip per season every year! :upsidedow

It is a beautiful time of year to go. The weather is wonderful - not too hot and not too cold.

I'm fine. I guess I did have a fever at one point during this, because I can feel a fever blister starting. :(

So glad to hear that Jill is feeling better!!! :goodvibes

Yay for Sophie's first ride!! You picked a great classic for that memorable occasion!! :wizard:

Ah seeing those Fall decorations makes me so anxious for Oct. But I do not want to rush the summer.

Love that the girls each have a different "first ride". :goodvibes

The new merchandise looks good.:thumbsup2

That will be great to have a Storybook Circus theme for Sophie's first birthday!!:)

MK in the fall - still on my list.

I can't tell you the last time we were on Small World. I do remember we had to force Declan on to the ride. :lmao:

Can't wait to see the new expansion in a couple of weeks.

It is beautiful in October! So glad I am making it there this year!
I love the theme for Sophie's first bday party! Y'all always do such a great job! :thumbsup2

Hi MeMom,So when are YOU going back to WDW?? I finished up "I Don't Speak Wind" which linked me to "So much to Celebrate" BUT I am still reading "Baby and the Tramp",so I am a little :confused3 with months and dates. Now I just read Jill is going in April and I JUST booked a trip in April :dance3:. I LOVE Flower and Garden in Epcot and April is our Anniversary month PLUS my DD will be done with Graduate school student teaching!! So a DISNEY CELEBRATION is called for ;). I LOVE reading your reports!! So many of us DISNEY obsessed people. Friends in my "REAL LIFE" just do not understand why I would be going BACK there AGAIN. But I am and this is how I feel about it :cool1::yay::cloud9::dance3: Joan

I agree how colorful everything is at Disney in October! And the fall decorations make everything so festive. What a great time of year to visit. :thumbsup2

Looks like Sophie really enjoyed her first Disney ride on IASW! I usually look just like that myself when I ride.........

Never been near Pinocchio's when I was needing something to eat, but I will definitely keep it in mind in the future. That flatbread pizza looks pretty good! ::yes::

I have to agree that when they get that mine train done, it should add quite a bit to the New Fantasyland area..........including even heavier crowds I bet!!!

I love what they did with the Storybook Circus area. Reminds me of the carnivals I used to enjoy as a boy. :goodvibes I like those "popcorn" pin displays and there are alot of neat things in that gift shop! I have to agree with others on here though, it would be really hard to choose from that display case of goodies!!! :woohoo:
