For people who aren't staying at the WDW resorts before the cruise, any suggestions on where to stay? I think we are planning on flying in either Thursday or Friday, and want to stay somewhere close to Port Canaveral. Not sure yet if we are going to rent a car or not. Just want some choices close to port that might also be close to a grocery store.

We stay at the comfort inn in coca beach it's like $150 night that includes park & ride too. Fairly good breakfast. It only takes about 10min to the port. We always catch the first shuttle and are normally within the first 50 people in line!

Not close to port but we stay at the airport Hyatt and take DCL transportation to the ship. It's amazing! You tag your luggage and they pick it up right from your room and it gets delivered right to your stateroom. It is amazingly convenient. On the way home they pick up our luggage at the stateroom and you see it again at your home airport.

Thanks! I will keep this one in mind as well. ^_^ We haven't quite decided whether we will fly in the night before & not do anything before the cruise or if we want to fly in early & take in a sight or two before the cruise.

Hi All! Sadly, we are no longer sailing on this cruise!

We just recently found out we were expecting (which is good news!!), and the baby will only be a few weeks old. So, we've decided to move our sail date back a bit, until the baby is just a tad older.

Hey everyone for reasons I don't want to revel (I'll let her if she chooses) Mindy as passed the FE list off to me.

Seems how I have received a few emails (we've been talking about this on FB) let me tell everyone how to sign up for the FE group(s)

Send me a DISBOARDS PM (I want them all to me in one spot and not everyone is on FB) with the following info

Dis name
Room #
Names of individuals
Ages (some people do gifts based on age)
Allergies
Things you like about disney, if your celebrating anything.
Email you want the finial list sent to.

I will be using an excel document to create the list, I will also include a map to go along with the list. I will not be posting it on dis and continually updating it, however I will posting totals along the way. I'm always in FB and I will check dis daily as well. I think of myself as a very organized and easy to get a hold of.

When I get the info from mindy I will post the dis names on dis to let you all know who is signed up so far, and we'll go from there so PLEASE hold off sending me a PM until I post the current list of names that are signed up.

as Mindy talked about splitting the group I will keep it one list and once we get closer I will see how many groups we should make based on what y'all think. I think I will make the close date a month before the cruse (we'll pick exact date when it gets closer) and any late joiners can make a group of their own if they choose. this will allow for the people who want to customize their gifts time to do so.

Please keep in mind I am on FB and Dis a lot from my iphone but the main list is on my computer that I only turn on during the weekend. I will provide updates as often as requested. Great! We want to make sure we can stop to grab some wine somewhere before we cruise We've never been to Cocoa Beach, even though we had our honeymoon in Orlando 10 years ago. We probably aren't renting a car so we want to find a place to stay within walking distance (?) to a grocery store to pick up wine & last minute incidentals
