I was just reading the thread about shows being canceled too soon, and I was amazed that 99.8% of them I've never heard of and I had not seen ANY of the ones mentioned. Well I've seen a couple episodes of Green Acres, a couple of Taxi (hated it), and thats it.
And I watch a lot of tv, where am I when all these shows are or were on?

My stars and garters!!! Thats a long list of things I'm missing. Probably a bunch more I've never heard of either. Geez!!! I've got to start looking around at more programming choices...LOL

well obvoiously there is a reason the shows were canceled. Low ratings. But I have to ask, what do you watch?

I think we all have likes and dislikes, for example I DESPISE reality TV and while I've heard of many shows I have NO interest in Survivor, Amazing Race, Fear Factor or what ever else is still on TV.

I have a cousin who only likes history channel type shows.

I wouldn't feel bad you missed some low rated shows even if I do see some great shows listed!

Must admit most of them I never saw either, and some of them I never even heard of. However you REALLY missed a GREAT TV show with AMERICAN DREAMS!

I see I'll Fly Away is on your list. You're in luck! It's currently being rebroadcast. Only the first two episodes have been on so far so jumping into the plot will be easy. Here's a link to the cable channel that's showing it. Well worth viewing. Certainly one of TV's finer moments. :thumbsup2

I'll Fly Away

I saw a few really good ones on your list.

State of Grace, Greg The Bunny and Undeclared were all great shows that weren't given nearly enough time to grab an audience.

Of course, Greg The Bunny didn't stand a chance, it was totally un-PC and wasn't afraid to take a shot at anyone - the very reason it was so darned good. ;)

West Wing is awesome!!! Or shall I say, was awesome. It's on Bravo almost every weekday, sometimes more than once. Here's the schedule in case you're interested:

Sports Night, also by writer Aaron Sorkin is really good, too. And Sorkin is coming out with a new series in the fall called "Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip" starring Matt Perry and Brad Whitford (from West Wing) as a behind the scenes of a Saturday Night Live-type show. It looks good!

I watch almost no televesion, and it's kind of depressing when the shows that I like are both cancelled, but they're worth watching. Sports Nights would have to be rented or purchased since I don't think it's rerun anywhere.

Never miss shows

CSI Las Vegas
InJustice (til it got the Ax)
Law and Order (original)
20/20
Flintstones
Rugrats
I Love Lucy
Bewitched
Dateline
Extreme Makeover Home Edition
Hawaii Five O
Good Morning America
Ellen
Oprah

Shows Never Watched

Lost
24
60 Minutes
Today Show
Martha Stewart
House
West Wing

I LOVED Greg the Bunny!! :rotfl2: Of course I have a thing for puppets (Muppets... Crow and Tom Servo from MST3k ;)) My fave epp is when they tried to 'hip' up the kids show, and turned Count Blah into Count A'ight. :smokin:
