So many LOVE POFQ/POR-what makes it "so special" to you-PLEASE POST PICS!!!

I hear alot of good reviews on the POFQ/POR and a few so/so ones about bedding and cleanliness and being outdated but these might be with the POR as well. I really really LOVE the theming of the POR and POFQ and both resorts have such a dedicated following that it does tempt me to want to stay there and I was just curious what keeps you going back to the POFQ/POR all the time? What is it about this resort that makes it a home resort to you? THanks for your help

Oh, if only POFQ was home. But why I love POFQ is for its laid back feeling, it makes me feel like things run at a slower pace. Which is good, considering how the rest of my vacations go, that when you get back on property the feeling I'm left with is: take your time. I lived in the South for 4 yrs, so it takes me back to those times.

I love the feeling of walking in the *streets* of the french quarter. It's a very pretty resort with the buildings and black-iron. It's easy to get to your rooms, doesn't take a long time and it does have an "easy" feel to it when your inside. There is a beautiful, wide winding walking path right by the river that leads to POR and you can see the beautiful southern mansion buildings there. I like the boat that takes you from the resort of downtown disney. It's only 20 minutes, but what a nice change of pace than taking the bus.

We stayed there last year and are definitely going back.
