So many flowers, so little time! 3/13 So many choices so little time! Food updates!

This is what happens when a few dis friends dream of another trip, another ticker and the opportunity for one heck of a dis meet!

It all seemed to happen very fast! A whirlwind really! Over the course of a Sunday night that included numerous posts on my TR/PTR and countless pm’s back and forth between the interested parties! So many so that I’m truly surprised the Dis server didn’t go down because of it!

It kinda went something like this;


May? someone’s going in May?

Who's going in May?

Someone else may want to go in May too!

Hmmmmm, May?

Maybe a May trip is a possibility…

The beginning of May is still Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival!

Wouldn’t it be nice to meet your “imaginary” friends for real?

Who doesn’t need another trip?

Especially since a siggie is lacking a ticker right now!

Hmmmm, how many DVC points are left?!

And so on and so on!


Scheming, planning and enabling commenced and soon we had the beginnings of what should turn out to be one heck of a ladies trip to WDW!


A few of us have met on previous trips and a few of us will have the opportunity to meet between now and the time this trip rolls around!

No matter what, this is going to fun!

If the rest of you could see how many emails and PMs have flown around over the last few days you would be hysterical. I'm not sure I've ever had so many emails in my life!

So stay tuned to find out what happens when x# of uber-planners try to plan a trip to the World.

Does anyone forecast a problem that we brainstormed a list of 50+ restaurants and have a trip of less than a week?

And furthermore does it surprise ANYONE that food was one of the first things we discussed?

Lots more fun to come, I am sure.

Thank goodness for the DIS boards that has brought this group of gals together. I don't think we would have met eachother if not for the DIS and although we haven't all met in person yet we already feel like "old" friends.

I'm in.....and on time, too! Looks like I will be joining this dynamic group for some girl's trip fun. But someone is still missing. Someone who is probably having dinner now because they are on West coast time.

I would be the West in the East and West.

So yes...on west coast time but sadly not eating dinner (yet) I was working and getting kids from sports stuff! Heading out to eat shortly though.

As you know, I won't be doing FB updates and I'm not taking a computer on this trip. But I promise to send you select text messages and pictures through the week. That includes you, too, Ellen, since you have brightened my days with many excellent pictures!

Like I said, I am good with whatever meal planning ensues as long as it includes either Jiko or California Grill. I actually look forward to someone else planning my itinerary! Go for it!
