SO many expensive minutes on WDW-DINE

I only have a cell phone with Canada wide calling. Assuming some of these big ticket ADRs are coming up soon to book, like ROL, and all the Epcot F&W stuff since our trip is in September... does anyone know of any online calling apps or web apps that call the USA for free?

Our Disneymoon is going to cost us an arm and a leg, don't really need crazy phone bills as well!

I bought a Bell calling card when I needed to call WDW. A 10$ card is good for like close to 2h or so of calling time, and it expires a year after or so. You call a 1-800 or 1-866 number and then enter your code to call. It uses regular minutes on your cell phone but since you have unlimited it doesn't matter.

what i'm wondering is why you are calling WDW-DINE?
why not book ADR's online?
i have not called since online booking became an option and i have been happier lol.

ETA: or is online ADR booking not available for Canadians? if so thats a bummer.

Some people are unable to book online at their 180+10 days even with a resort stay. It's nice to have the option to call at 7am (without paying a fortune) if MDE refuses to read your reservation. :badpc:

Because certain things like V&A, and then the special events, are easier to book over the phone.

Definitely Canadian's can book online. I always book online. V&As was the only one last year I had to call because they changed their booking methodology. I don't know if they're now online again - I read that they might be. Otherwise, you really don't need to call

THIS. Exactly this.

If we hadn't have called, we wouldn't be dining at the Chef's Table at V&A in September... so 95% of the time, yes online - but for some of the bigger, harder to get resos, I personally don't want to deal with Disney's website crashing on me last minute.

V&A is one that I would spend any amount of money to call just to get a spot. I had tried to book online as usual last year for a V&A reservation in December last year and then read on the Disboards that they were not on the WDW dining reservation site and to call. We did and got a spot in the QVC room. It was the 7th or 8th time we've dined there and truly the most amazing experience out of all of the times we've dined there.

Sorry I need to play the other side. If your worried about the phone rates for US calling, but booking V&A then I don't think you need to worry.
But on the other hand, you could call your cell provider and see about an add on for 3-10 days that include US calling as if you were going to the states. Very inexpensive.

The reality is, planning a wedding is expensive. Every little bit of savings helps.
