So let's say you have 1.5 days at WDW...

What would your dream WDW touring plan be if you only had 1.5 days and you did NOT want to do any park hopping? Meaning, we can visit only 2 parks.

We are arriving mid-morning on a Thursday, and will stay two nights at the Polynesian, and then on Saturday morning we are off to a Disney cruise out of Port Canaveral. I figure with the flight landing, and then waiting for the bus, etc, we may not get to the hotel until noon or so.

By the way, on that arrival day, our flight leaves crazy super early, so we won't be up for a late night on Thursday. My kids are little anyway, so even on a "good" day they are in bed by 9 at the latest. We're staying at the Poly, so we are planning to watch fireworks from the beach one of those nights, and we're hoping for some pool time.

We went to WDW 2 years ago, and had a blast. I think I lean towards going to MK and AK, but the kids absolutely loved HS, and there was a ton we didn't do at Epcot. (The kids are 11 and 7.)

So my main questions are: Which 2 parks would you go to? And, which one would be on the full day versus the half day?

This is way harder than I thought it would be! How would you plan out those days?

(I am already planning a return visit for later this year, so this isn't a "fit everything in because it's our last time ever at WDW" kind of thing.)

I'm throwing around something like this:

Thursday - arrive at Poly noon'ish - go to AK for the day - when kids crap out (and they will), go back to Poly for dinner & bed
Friday - full day at MK - dinner at HDDR - pool time before bed
Saturday - pool in the morning before driving off to Port Canaveral

I mostly like your plan.
The only thing is I would not do HDDR as that would take away too much park time.

Agree. You're going to have so much GREAT, FABULOUS food on the cruise, along with good character meets, that I would just focus on the parks.

I might choose that partial day by what I could get a FP+ for. If HS has more availability, I'd go there. If AK, then I'd go there.

Your plan is exactly what I would do! However, I agree with the others that unless disney dining is something you super treasure on your vacations, you may want to get more park time and just eat quickly :)

It's not that I love Disney dining so much, but we had so much fun at the HDDR show when we went a couple years ago! I will reconsider that though, because that is a good point.

And now I am rethinking my choice of a park, because of how crazy busy the Avatar stuff is. I loved AK a lot though, all the shows & other rides were so great.
