of moving the ressie to BCV? We are going the last week of January so I wouldn't imagine it would be crazy busy. I'll call at the 7month mark day-by-day but we really can't be moving back and forth on this trip. It's for 7 days and we are taking friends with us (partly in hopes they'll buy in too so we can enjoy some vacations together) so I don't want to wear them out with resort moves.
We really love SSR and think they'll love it too but the kids have been begging to go to BCV for their pool. Will we even have pool weather in January? We usually go in February and find the weather usually nice but often a bit too chilly for me to swim (although the kids would swim in any temperature)
Any thoughts?

Did you wait list?

SSR is my home resort, we almost always have to waitlist when we want BC or BWV. I always seem to get the waitlisted reservation and end up at BC or BWV. (I guess we have just been really lucky.)

So, if you are not waitlisted, call and do it! :)

I think you have an excellent chance this time of year. The big draw at BCV is Stormalong Bay. The weather can be dicy this time of year, so I do not think it will be a problem 7 months out. We were able to book a studio for 2 days 3 weeks before easter break, and this is a peak period. If you call day by day at 7 months for a jan ressie, I would say your chances are about 95%!

She cannot wait list until her 7 month mark which has not arrived yet.

Yep, I noticed that after I hit send on my post...Silly me.

So, my advice is, if you don't get the reservation when you call at 7 months...Waitlist, waitlist, waitlist!

We will also be at SSR the last week January and are taking family! :yay: I was going to try to move at 7mo, but now have decided to stay put. I think SSR will be perfect for our needs.
But, who knows, might change my mind by the 7mo mark...that's the problem with booking so early! :confused3
If I do switch it would be to VWL - we will have little ones with us and I'd be too nervous at SAB..

Thanks all!
I'll call day-by-day as I'm thinking our chances are pretty good. I don't know if I'll go swimming but at least the kids will get to try SAB and we're in a great location to walk to two parks.
The calendar is marked and now I just have to wait (and cross my fingers!)
