So impressed with rental company

We are at Disney for our first trip ever. I'm temporarily disabled, so I'm new to all this stuff. We are staying off-site at Wyndham Bonnet Creek. We used K&M Rentals and they have been amazing. I ordered an ECV, a recliner for our room (I cannot sleep in a bed right now) and a double stroller (5 and 6 year old kids). They had our stuff delivered within an hour of calling, before we even had our room ready. The bellhop brought it to our room for us once it was assigned.

Yesterday was our first day and we were in MK from 8am to 11pm. Around noon, my ECV gave up. It was going along fine, then it just quit. I had no idea if this was normal, so my husband dragged it over to a plug and charged it while we got a snack. It charged for half an hour, then worked for half an hour before quitting again. I called K&M and they were mortified. They said that should NOT happen. It should last all day. They had someone bring us a replacement immediately. He called my cell and got our exact location and brought it directly to us. Talk about good customer service!

We asked how to get the ECV to Sea World (for tomorrow) because our resort transpo doesn't have ECV-capable buses going there. They said they would be happy to swap it out for the kind that breaks down and would fit in our trunk (we drove here). I'm just really happy with their service.

Under the ADA law if Bonnet Creek provides transportation to anyone not needing a wheelchair then they have to provide accessible transportation even if they have to pay for a private taxi

Well, they don't exactly 'provide' the transportation. They use Maingate Transpo and the buses to Disney parks are free. They do not provide transpo to Sea World, but list Maingate's number to make reservations (cost is $12pp). I called them and they do not use buses for Sea World, so they cannot take me.

However, K&M will be here at 9am to swap out my ECV with one that breaks down and will fit in my trunk.
