The rules state that Disney has the sole right to pick not only the hotel, but also the dates, although that may mean that they will listen to your choices but have the final say.

]If it had to be a value, I would look into whether I could pay extra to upgrade to a moderate. (No flames please! I know some families prefer the values and some families can't afford or can't fit in anything else, and I'm glad they have that choice, but they're just not for me.)

What I noticed reading the rules again was at Disney World you would stay at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and at Disneyland it was a a Disneyland® Resort hotel or Disneyland® Resort area hotel. So at Disneyland it could be an offsite hotel.

Back several year ago, my brother won a Disney trip through HP. He was originally offered the choice of a couple of moderate resorts at WDW. Because of something airline related though they ended up with an extra night but at a value resort.

2. Polynesian
3. Beach Club

For moderates I would pick POFQ or POR.

We've never been to DL so we would definitely choose that park! I'd probably go with the Grand Californian and enjoy every single moment of it.
However if we suddenly changed our minds and picked the World, I'd choose WL. I just love the whole atmosphere of that resort!!
As far as moderates go I like Coronado and i wouldnt care which value...... they all seem kind of the same to me. Any would do just fine.

I have never been to DL so I would pick the Grand California, at WDW hmmm, not sure I love WL but would like to try AKL.

But to be honest I'm not that hopefully that I'll win. I've entered everyone I've seen for the past 3 yrs (I guess) & never have won. I do have a friend that wins things like this all the time. She won a beach vacation, a disney vacation (not thru disney), tickets to concerts, & those are ones I know about that's in the last 5yrs. I'm green with jealousy, lol. I guess she's super lucky.

This would be a hard decision!

We've only been to DL once and that was long before the Grand Californian but we love WDW and all its parks! I honestly do not know which park we would choose. If DL, we would definitely add on a trip to Universal out there.

Dreaming of winning so I thought it would be fun for us to post where we would choose to stay if we win. Here are my 3 if we are allowed to choose.... I think Put in categories in case deluxe is not an option. Also put in resorts we have not tried yet to change it up

maybe poly but we stayed there once and I want to try new places

And that is true, but I have read several times where Disney has taken into consideration the winner's preference. Doesn't mean they will this time, but who knows?
