Dreaming of winning so I thought it would be fun for us to post where we would choose to stay if we win. Here are my 3 if we are allowed to choose.... I think Put in categories in case deluxe is not an option. Also put in resorts we have not tried yet to change it up

Deluxe- AKL or BC
Already stayed at Poly and BWI
maybe poly but we stayed there once and I want to try new places



Moderate- CSR or CBR
Already stayed at POR


Value- AOA

I'd rather choose DL, and I have no idea what resorts they have.

Well, I think we would definitely choose to go to DW since we are west coasters currently.....that is unless the vacations are supposed to be taken much later in the year, in which case, we will be east coaster/DW backyarder's then, so in that case we would choose Disneyland. HA! So, for DW, we would probably choose:

AKL (always wanted to stay there to wakeup to giraffes out our window!! teehee!) or maybe GF since it looks amazing too!

and at DL:

I guess we would probably choose GCH since we will be staying at the DLH on our trip this February!

I hope we win!! (and I hope everyone else here wins too! )

Doesn't the price estimation in the official rules make it seem like it would either be moderate or value? Just curious if the last contest specified a price like that if anyone remembers... But regardless its a free trip and I would go even it was at the campsite with a tent..lol

I would probably pick Disneyland over WDW this time as we have been to WDW over 10 times and have never been to DL. Flights to FL are so much cheaper for us than getting to CA.

Top choice would be Disneyland Hotel..


If the lure of WDW wins over I would pick Poly or GF. Poly would be our first choice but GF might move into #1 depending on what the construction looks like at the Poly at the time of the trip.

Moderate would be POR and value would be AOA.

The rules state that Disney has the sole right to pick not only the hotel, but also the dates, although that may mean that they will listen to your choices but have the final say.

My top 3 choices would be places I wouldn't spend the money to stay myself:

Yacht Club
Polynesian
Beach Club

If it had to be a moderate, I would choose my favorite POFQ. If it had to be a value, I would look into whether I could pay extra to upgrade to a moderate. (No flames please! I know some families prefer the values and some families can't afford or can't fit in anything else, and I'm glad they have that choice, but they're just not for me.)
