So if one were to switch from room only discount to kids stay/play free??

How does that work? We are currently booked for CBR 3/26-4/3 and have already made pmts on this. What does Disney do if you want to switch? TIA, sorry if it sounds stupid but I'm confused

I've added discounts on two trips. The first time they just rebooked my package and I had to make new deposit, then they credited me back the original money. Seemed like a lot of work, but that's what they did. Most recently, I added the kids play/stay discount to my package, which I already had $200 down on, and all they did was apply the code. I just had to put $200 more on my Disney Visa to get it the discount. No new ressie. Either way, you should be able to work it out and get the savings.

PS- If you don't have to rebook, they will adjust your statement with the discount and email you a new one and your new balance showing any previous payments.

I called twice yesterday, got two different cms and both didn't sound too happy with me even inquiring about the kids play free option. I'm going to try again as I was quoted two different prices as well which makes no sense to me.

So from what I'm understand you cancel the ressie and then make a new one? How long does that $200 take to get put back on your card? We are flying now and do not want to stay at CBR as it is just too spread out and we won't have our own vehicle now. Ugh..IDK what to do

If it's already a package, the CM could just modify it keeping the same confirmation number, with no need to cancel and rebook . But if the current ressie is just the room with no tickets/DDP, then that will have to be cancelled/refunded and the new reservation booked, which would require a new $200 deposit, as deposits and payments can't be transferred between room only bookings and packages. As for refunds......they tell you it could take up to 2 billing cycles, but my experience has been just 3-5 days .

Oh thanks for the info...its a whole package. I'm going to just switch to POP with the kids play free option, calling right now! Thanks again guys
