So if I want to get a cab to SEAworld, do I just ask the front desk to call one ?

We will be staying a t POP and AKL. Not sure which day we'll try to get to seaworld, but can I just ask the front deask at either of these places to call us a cab? Is that the best way to get there? We won't have a vehicle

Yes. A cab is probably the quickest and easiest way to go and yes, the front desk or guest services at the hotel can call one for you.

Ask at the Valet desk out front of the resort...they can get a cab up very quickly.

On a trip 2 years ago I found that it cost about the same amount to rent a car for 1 day as cab fare to sea world. The car rental place on disney property will send a shuttle for you and then you have the advantage of stopping a few other places after your day at sea world.

But won't the car rental place take up more of my time? And then won't I have to pay to park at SEaworld? What is the name of the company that you used? Thanks

We used National car rental, located near the MK entrance. I called the day before and did most of the "paperwork" over the phone so picking up the car went very quickly. It was about $50 for 24 hours, and if I remember right when I called the front desk to ask about cab fare it was around 25 dollars each way. Plus, with the rental car we were able to stop at some of the tourist places in International drive, eat off property that night, and the next day had the car to check out a couple of places on disney property that we hadn't seen before. I think that Alamo is the name of the rental place now, you could probably get a coupon ahead of time as well. We only did this spur of the moment and had the ideal to check on rental cars after we found out how much cabs cost. After our day at Sea world we also went to Universal's City walk and checked it out. I don't remember how much parking cost, but for us it was worth being able to do a few extra things.

Parking at SeaWorld is $8.00. Was there in Early oct 05. I'm sure if you looking in to Rental cars and line it up before you go you could get a better rate for a day.

If you are looking to save money though, I know I have seen somewhere on here where they have a shuttle that leaves from sround the Ticket and Transportion center that will take you to Seaworld and will bring you back for basically next to nothing. Maybe someone else can elaborate more.

Really? A shuttle that would take you off property to a competing venue? It must not be on Disney property. I would be totally shocked if anything like this was allowed on Disney property and I bet Disney wouldn't have anything to do with it. Of course, that is just my thoughts and I've been wrong before. :teeth:

I found this info under the Transportation links. It says the service is called LYNX. It is not ran by Disney.

I also read about shuttle or bus at the Transportation Center. :Pinkbounc

Lynx is the public transportation and it does come to the TTC and goes to SeaWorld, Universal, the Outlet Malls and various other locations. It also provides transportation for many Disney employees that live near those attractions.

The bus to seaworld worked fine for us and if you're looking for cheap transportation it works!! And it drops you off right at the sea world parking lot! Not a bad deal! Depends on how much you're willing to spend! If you're looking for cheap then that's the way since it will only cost you $1..50 per person each way! We did it to goto the outlets! If I knew it would be that easy I wouldve done at least one or two days at seaworld instead of 9 days at wdw parks!! We did it and transferred to the I ride trolley to goto the outlets!!!

Ummm, there are a couple of shuttles that run from Disney to other venues. And yes it is allowed.
