So if I can't stay on property, then Where?

I can't get a reservation for a 1 night stay, February 8th. Told that all is booked.

I have never stayed anywhere else other then resorts in Disney. So any suggestions where we should stay?

Our plans are Saratoga Springs for 5 nights. Vero Beach for 1 night then back up to Disney. Need a room for that 1 night stay, the day before we leave for home.

I would like to keep it under $100. Any suggestions?

I just checked the Starwood Web Site (on 1/16/07@ 4:00 pst)--both the Swan and the Dolphin are showing vacancies for that night @ $259.00.

There are a lot of good places to stay for under 100 dollars on 192 down towards Disney, Lake Buena Vista, Four Corners on 27, Clermont where 27 and 50 intersect, Celebration all with nice hotels like Best Westerns and things like that for under 100 bucks

check mousesavers.com for good bargains on hotels offsite. For one nite, I'd probably do a Priceline 3* for LBV area.

I just booked a whole week at Cypress Point Grand Villas for around $99 a day through hotekingdom.com. You might want to check that out too!

Second the hotelkingdom and priceline suggestions. You may be able to snag Gaylord Palms for just under $100, but the parking and resort fee will push it over. Since you like larger rooms, Cypress Pointe is great. We often stay there on Friday and Saturday nights when points are too dear for us.

Check www.travelzoo.com. They have some great rates for your the date you are looking for. We've used them twice for stays at the Sheraton Safari.

We have also used www.hotelkingdom.com to book Cypress Point Grand Villas, and we absolutely loved that resort. I highly recommend booking a 2bdrm there (if you have kids). Be warned though, after this, you may never want to stay onsite again!

if so - heck I am expensive - I liked Best Western Lakeside.

if you don't have a car - then I would go for near the airport.
