It was cute. Really cute. DD loved it and had a great time with her girlfriend. They both wore princesses dresses and I must say, it was really cute. I have never seen so many little princesses in my whole life, 1,000's of them.

If you bring your DD dint' forget her princess dress. princess:

DD (4.5) sat on my lap and ohhhed and ahhed the whole time. She clapped and laughed and had a great time. So did all the kids around her.

After the show started a group of women came late and sat behind us. They had 4 little girls all in princess dress. They were all around 2 to 3 years old a very cute. However they were beyond excited. They yelled, kicked chairs (hard) screamed and yelled non stop. (in Spanish, when Maleficent showed up it was Malifianto. :) ) Now you expect a certain amount of excitement, bouncing, singing along and yelling, but OMG my ears were ringing. It wasn't until I started to ask them nicely to not kick the chair and put my finger to my mouth that things got a little better. My DD and her friend (and all the rest of the kids I could see, were very well behaved. However everyone else started to scream at the top of their lungs, because hey that is what we are doing right? The second half the mom's put them on their laps and that helped some.

Once again it wasn’t the kids, as much as the parents who didn’t care about anyone else around them that bugged me. (they really were adorable, as where all the other kids there.) Really there were well behaved kids everywhere, just the ones over the top stand out. (and were right behind me.)

Oh well, I seem to be a magnet for chair kickers.

Anyway it was a great show. Lots of fun. I can’t wait for the real thing (WDW) in Jan :cheer2:

Oh I also brought DD some new figurines from the DIsney store and her princess wand from WDW. There were some very pricely soveniors every where you turned. It helped her from wanting new stuff.

Can you tell me what types of souvenirs they had? We are planning on going to take my DD4 in December and may want to save some money just in case!

Also, how close were you to the ice? I have to order tickets and didn't know if we had to be up front or if we could sit further back.

Thanks!

We were very far away from the ice, my friend got the tickets last min and they were "nose bleder seats". ($10) Last year we bought the day off, had $10 tickets and they were much better seats. However it apears every seat is a good view and they could see fine. The kids who were right frount row got some charater interaction, even during the show and the 1st 20 rows or so got to go up and greet the charaters. Since DD has been to WDW many times, and will be going again in a few months, it wasn't much of a issue for her.

They had snow cones in cinderella cups for $10. Dolls for 22 (like barbie.) They had a few light up type things, none of them were as nice as the kind you can get from TDS or WDW. (we brought out own, do that if you can, kids used them the whole time.) You could stand in line to get your picture taken with a statue (like the one at the world of Disney store in DTD.) They had some bincoulars that were $10 I think. I wasn't impressed with anything. (and if I like things we will get Disney things. ) DD was much happier with the figurines I got her at DTD for less then $10 and there is 8 of them. (they are pretty good size too.) Shirts, jackets, some princess hats, we had stuff at home (and with us) that was much better qualilty.

You could find some things that weren't too expensive, and weren't bad, but you could do much better at your local toy store, TDS or online for better prices.

They had Jasmine, snow white, Areil, Mulan, Aura, Belle, the 1st half, the second half was all Cinderella. Minnie, Mickey, Goofy were there too (in 3 muskters cothes.) The end customes were all 50th celebration type and very lovely.
