Also, there's another great park down the street. The park buidling is a historic landmark, and it's one of the city parks in the summer that does the "movies under the stars". It also has great art fairs, plays, and small music fests.

Change is always a little scary, even when it's a good change. It sounds like a great place and I'm sure you'll adjust to it quickly and realize how much better it is. Packing is no fun, though.

You know, I was just talking with my younger dd about our first apt. We play "Animal Crossing" and she was talking about how she misses the "cozy little house" you first get in the game.

So I chat about my first apt., and the ease & "fun" it was. I am glad I have those memories to share with her.

Think of it as you are just starting a new chapter and make sure you have a lot of good stories to tell later. Also take some pictures of your old place!!!!

Heck, the way you describe it, I want to move there.

You're probably just nervous about the change. Your new place sounds great with the parks nearby. Sounds like you have plans to make it your own I'm sure you'll be happy once you've made those few changes. Good Luck!
