We went down to WDW 11/13-11/21 with my parents. We all had thought about getting APs but then decided that we didn't want to pay the extra so we went fully aware and accepting that this would be our one and only last trip forever and ever.
With one son ending up at urgent care and the rest of us coming down with a no good horrible upper respiratory infection, we missed some time in the parks. We missed some things we wanted to do. The boys started playing Sorcerers. Us adults felt bad for the kids...
So on our last day DH & I checked in at Guest Relations in MK and found out that we would get cash back from Disney if we turned our tickets in to Silver APs! And lo, we walked out $21 richer from Guest Relations & hauled booty over to Epcot where my parents were waiting to meet for dinner. I hauled them to the gate and upgraded their tickets too. Then we were a few minutes late to Biergarten but they gladly let us in.
We have a trip booked for Jan. utilizing the bounceback offer. My youngest would rather go to WDW for his late Dec bday after the blackout dates than have gifts.
Our last trip was supposed to be a surprise but my DH store manager blabbed to the boys and they knew when we were leaving. This trip is so gonna be super secret, the boys love surprises and I really want to make this trip great for them.
