My first gut reaction was :earseek:

Then I read through the whole description. Apparently this is an individual person's pin from their Disney Collection. I wonder why/how Disney is auctioning off someone else's merchandise.

This is so strange! It IS from a private collector's pins. And there are three more "sets" or at least two from the same collector. Hmmm.....wonder if we all will be able to "auction" our pins using the Disney banner?

To me, it's unacceptable.

This pin is an item from Howard Lowery's collection. Disney bought the remaining stock after the Lowery gallery closed a year or so ago.

Howard Lowary was a very well known, highly respected dealer of "high end" (animation cels etc) disneyana. He held auctions attended by some very well known collectors, as well as some of the more average.

Disney seems to be selling quite a few items from that purchase.
