Because DBF has decided he is too tired. So I've been sitting here all night getting psyched for it because for 3 days we've had this planned. A little while ago he goes in to lie down saying he feels tired and wants to nap before the show (we live together) and now I went in to wake him up, and he informs me he is too tired and maybe we can just go next week.

I'm very upset. Someone calm me down.

I feel your pain. DH did that last year on my birthday!!! He was tired and *didn't feel good*. Um, the only things I asked for were flowers at work and a date. I got neither. He still catches crap for that. Sometimes they just don't *get* it.

Can you go by yourself? I know that option stinks, but maybe he will realize how much it really meant to you. I wouldn't want to wait until next week.

I would but it is almost 11 pm (we were planning to go to the 12:20 show) and the theater is in a bad area. I really would not feel safe.

Tomorrow would not work either. I really prefer to go to late shows and since tomorrows Sunday and we have to work early Monday it wouldn't be a good idea. I'll have to wait till next Friday and see if he comes up with some other excuse.

I'm sorry you didn't get to go. I know how looking forward to it you were. Just go sometime today by yourself. There is nothing wrong with that! I love going to movies by myself! Waiting a week will kill you! If you can't go today, why not tomorrow after you get off work?
