She had KITTENS!!!

I think there's four or five...(I'm not going to touch them yet to find out). One died though. :-(

So, who wants a brand new kitten? They won't be ready for eight weeks though.

Aww! I would like one, but can't. However, what are you going to name them? With momma being Annabel Lee, may I suggest Lenore, Annie, Madeline, or for the boys, Roderick or even Pluto (if there's a black one!).

I love Poe!:p

AWWWW!!! I have been officailly banned from bringing anymore cats into the house currently though. (We have 3:cat: :cat: :cat: )
DH has finally adjusted to the youngest and her antics:crazy: Hmmm....I wonder if he would notice a kitten:scratchin :teeth:

tooo cute. Id love one but my cats would not tolerate it :/

Have banned any more animals in my house. We have 4 cats and a dog I am allergic to. Thought I was getting rid of them when my daughter moved but found out she is leaving them here with us. I will be finding homes for them.

I'll take one. I'm not really a cat person, but I've got this nasty bird that keeps slamming into my window at 6 in the morning. I think it has a nest on my ledge. I really want to get rid of it somehow.

You named your cat after a Poe poem. How cool!:sunny:

If one has already died ( :( ), you may want to get both mama and remaining babies checked out by a vet.

::yes:: and get mama fixed. ;)

and get mama fixed.

Also glad I'm not the first to say it! Our shelter is full of cats and kittens, as much as I love each of them, it would be nice if they didn't have to stay with us. Not to mention the benefits to mom (and you- no more heat cycles!) spaying offers.

sorry for the preaching, a side effect of my job!

It sounds like this was an "accident". If you are NOT a breeder your cat should not be whole.

I should stay out of these kinds of discussions, but I have to agree here. "Accidents" should not happen. If you are a breeder, you would be taking great care to make sure you were not passing on genetic faults, and you would not be "giving away" kittens. I don't have cats, but as a dog breeder, we require all of our puppies that we sell to be neutered and spayed to protect our blood line. The only departure from that part of our contract is if the buyer is specifically buying to show. We spend a lot of time screening buyers to make sure the puppy goes to a good responsible home.
