So, I am laying in bed last night, and this is what happened....

Bwe glad it stopped bleeding! My mother had a blood vessel in her nose pop when she was sleeping, and like you, it was running down her throat and that's what woke her up. She couldn;t get it to stop, so my sister had to take her to the ER, and they had to cauterize it. Thye stuck thsi thing way up her nose and fried the vessel closed!!!! Bad part is it didn't take the first time, so they ahd to do it again. She said that's the worst thing she'd ever been through.

Hope you got all the blood out of your top. :santa:

My DS 6 has had to have his nose cauderized twice, but they put him under for it. The doc said it would be like torturing him if we didn't. His blood vessels in his nose are too large and if his nose get too dry he will gush blood like someone is killing him. My carpet has the blood stains to prove it! Putting vaseline in his nose before bed helps alot.

i used to have nosebleeds like that when i was younger, but i also had my adenoids taken out, so i always thought it might have been because of that.

have you ever had nasal surgery?

I haven't finished the thread yet, but I figured you would appreciate this....Sorry for the slight hijack.

My DS4 told me a few months ago he is going to name his son, Peter Venkman!:rotfl:

I figure I'm either a great mother because my kids are so well versed in pop culture trivia or I'm terrible that they know this stuff.:rolleyes1

Wow, that's too funny! Impressive 80's movie knowledge on that young man! Just think how good he'll be at Trivial Pursuit in the future.

Everyone in my family laughs at me cuz I believe in ghosts. :confused3 So you could have had something;) blow on you or maybe the heat came on suddenly and blew your hair. Who knows.
The bloody nose baffles me. No telling what went on there. Maybe a sinus infection coming on or the air in your home is too drying. Try a humidifier.

I also believe in ghosts....my Grandma visited me when my sons heart stopped during childbirth. I knew instantly that he would be OK.

Could ther breath on your neck been a warning from someone that something was about to happen?

Could the breath feeling on your neck been a physical "precursor" to the subsequent vascular "event"?

Could the breath feeling on your neck been a draft?

Could the 2 things be completely unrelated????
