It could have been a scene out of a horror movie, and it would freak you out. I am trying to not think about it!
So, I am laying in bed reading last night. Dh is at work, and the kids are all asleep. I am on my side, with the book resting on a pillow. All of a sudden, I feel a cold breeze on the back of my neck, like someone blew on my neck. It definitely felt like someone blowing, not a breeze from like an open window. I even felt my hair move. Now, I tried to brush it off, by telling myself that maybe I was dozing off, and it was a "dream" type incident. Maybe I imagined it. By I definitely felt the cold air, and the hair move. Albeit imagined or not.
Now, this is where it gets freaky. See, if the reading was a scene in a movie, it would show me reading, with no background music, comeplete silence, then you would probably hear the breath sound, and see my hair move. I would sit up, look around and decide it was no big deal, and go back to reading (which is what I did). The next scene would be of me sleeping in a dark room. It would show me slowly waking up, feeling something strange, as I realize my nose is running. The camera may zoom in to show that I don't just have a runny nose, but it is blood! Pouring out of one nostril like a siv. It might show me sit up, and realize in the dark that a regular runny nose does not come out that fast, as I run to the bathroom to find my night shirt and face covered in blood!!! I don't know how long my nose was bleeding before I woke up, but if it were a movie, the camera could tell me, as it would have been filming the start of my "runny nose" as I was sleeping. Maybe with some scary music thrown in.
Why would I just out of the blue get a bloody nose while I slept??? It had to have been bleeding for some time as I was sleeping, and it went down the back of my throat, because I was spitting up blood also. It took a few minutes, but I got it to stop, and went back to bed.
Seeing my bloody night shirt this morning freaked me out. I rememered the cold breath, and then the bloody nose. If this were a horror film, I think you would all be screaming for me to get out of the house!!!!!
