So...how many of you did NOT book bounceback?

We had the bounce back offer at Music 9/22-9/30. We chose not to book. We've had free dining for the past three years but we decided that all that eating takes too much time and way too much food. Plus taking off the tip, it really isn't free dining anymore for us, because there are 7 people in our family and the tips would still be a lot oop.

We didn't book because:
1) we're thinking about going someplace else next year (but then, we're all now saying well, maybe WDW again...)
2) 1st grade for the youngest
3) maybe it's time to try another month
4) and free dining next year won't be worth it for us. We're not dessert people. Combined with no tip, definitely not worth it.

Well, I did book but we are 90% sure we're not going. It affected my 2nd grader's schoolwork more than we anticipated (even with teachers who were supportive of him going) going so soon into the year. We're more likely to go during fall break (2rd week of October) or the week after Thanksgiving or the MLK holiday in '09.

Giving up that deluxe dining plan is gonna sting!

we didn't book either because my parents want to go with us on a trip in sept next year and the only time my dad has off from teaching is Labor day weekend...and part of the dates for bounceback did not include the few days before Labor Day so we just said forget it.

I didn't book either.....this was my 3rd free dining trip....I"ve just decided it's too darn hot in late sept/early October....I'm going back to my "old" trip timing....January!!!!

I didn't just because I can't have the kids miss another week of school. If there were just more days off in Sept, LOL. We had a blast and I want to go back so badly but just can't do it. So it looks like we will have to settle for a Jan. trip in a few years. Hopefully a good discount will make up for not getting free dining!

We didn't. It was just too hot for us (we returned last week).

We'll probably look into the DDE card next time. We love eating table service (we didn't use most of our counter service credits and just paid for additional table service meals instead), so that will probably work out better for us anyway.

How did you like Jan? Our school system has all these half days and then days off right after Presidents day. Its for high school testing. 2010 will be the last year we can travel during that time....then my so will be in high school (gasp, I can't believe it! )
