Out of my own personal curiosity, I'm wondering how folks plan on using their GAD vouchers.

For my family, we plan on using the Fast Pass option. I can't even imagine what it will be like to have instant fast passes for those rides! I'll tell you one thing...it does give me a whole new thing to think about when planning!

We have four vouchers in our family. We went to Disney in January (before volunteering), but we will be at MK for one day this summer in conjunction with a Universal/Sea World trip (have to do MK to ride Splash and eat at Crystal Palace, both of which were closed in January). We all have leftover tickets from January, but we will use the vouchers for three tickets and one set of fastpass cards. We don't usually go to Disney in the summer, so having some extra FPs in the heat and crowds will be a very good thing!

We have 5 vouchers in our family. I'm waiting for them to come. We turned our blankets in on Saturday. We will be at WDW in July and plan on using 3 free tickets to upgrade to 6 day hopper and 2 for FP's at MK and HS. I think it will make the day go so easy. This way we save some money and get the special FP's too.

We will have 5 vouchers and 7 days in the parks so we are doing the Fastpasses. Can't wait!

We were originally going to exchange them for the FASTPASSes on our AK day and our 1st DHS day (with TSM), however, we decided that 2x on TSM would be enough, and I've gotten a good touring plan with RideMax so I don't need them for AK anymore either. We are probably going to donate the tickets, but maybe we will keep them for AK!

I am the other.

At the moment I am hoping for free dining and will have to buy tickets for our family to get into the park. If either free dining doesn't come through, or my neighbor can hook me up with seriously discounted tickets through his work, we will probably use them to get into the parks one day.

Otherwise we will use them for fastpasses.

We will use our vouchers for free tickets and then upgrade them to 6 days.

We will have 5 vouchers-2 for MK, 1 for Epcot, 1 for DHS and one for pin set or to donate. I don't think we need it for AK-but that might change if we get there and the crowds are crazy.

I agree with you OP-the option of having instant FPs is so awesome and it does make planning just a little less stressful.

This will be our first ever June trip and first summer trip since we went on July 4th 2001. I was worried over the crowds, but now I think we will be ok with our FPs :dance3:

We went last summer.....in July....and we were fine with the regular FP strategy....so having these GAD FP's are going to make it so much easier! Can you imagine not running to TSM at RD...what will I do instead?????? ;)

We are doing the fast passes. 4 of our 6 park days are predicted to be "10's". I think it will make a much better trip having the FP's. Some things are worth more than money. Not having to stand in line for over an hour on a 10 day....priceless.

DD3 didn't qualify for a voucher but DH, myself, and DD6 will all have a voucher for our September trip :cool1:

We booked bounceback last year with free dining and need at least a 1 day base ticket for that so we plan on using two of the vouchers for fast passes (and DD3 still gets to benefit ;)) and 1 voucher for the ear hat figuring with pins for DDs room. Can't wait!

We are currently here and using them for fast passes. They have been AWESOME!! Did MK yesterday, DHS today, Epcot tomorrow, and I'm debating on if I will use it for AK on Thursday, or save a voucher for a 2nd day at MK.

starting the last non-blackout day before Easter. Originally we were going to do a DisneyQuest / one Waterpark / visit other resorts we've never seen (ie low budget) trip since we "did" the parks over 6 days last August. Now with our GAD we are going to go to MK, probably, on the last non-blackout day and upgrade to a one-day water fun parks and more option in order to get one waterpark and one DisneyQuest visit for less than paying separately. Somewhere I also have one child's waterpark visit left from a non-expiring ticket from 2003. Possibly I'll use that to upgrade one child's ticket and use that child's GAD to get fastpasses. It's all so confusing, but my family is amazed that I even know about all this thanks to this board. :)

We are using our vouchers for free tickets, upgrading to the new Weekday Florida resident select pass.

We're going with a group of eight for nine days. I'm thinking of using FP for five days and three vouchers for the free entry and upgrade to 10-day hoppers.

I'm hoping on our FP days they'll give out cards to all eight of us. I've read others have had luck with this.:thumbsup2

We used ours for a one-day trip to Animal Kingdom. We were visiting family who live about 2 hours from Disney, so the free tickets allowed us to drive up for the day. (Actually went to Kennedy Space Center first, then drove to Kissimmee, stayed over, then did AK, leaving around 4pm to drive home). They have AP's so admission wasn't an issue for them.
Without the vouchers, we just would have stayed closer to where they live for the week.

We will def use one (of our 2) as a ticket... probably will upgrade it to a multi-day, no expiration, park hopper. The other one, maybe FP but also likely a ticket.

We have AP's which expire in May - so we planned a trip for spring break starting next weekend to use them one more time. Since we're outside the 30 day renewal window for our AP's we're using our vouchers for the Fast Pass cards. Sadly we have no more trips planned to WDW after our AP's expire - we opted to go to HHI this summer instead to save money. While I think the Fast Pass cards will come in REAL handy while we are there, I do not think that fast passes for 6 rides is quite the $ equivalent of a free day of park admission.:confused3 I think an unlimited approach would've been closer in value. But whatever - we'll certainly take what we can get as this is our last trip for who knows how long!:)

Our kids have spring break the week of 4/11 so we are exch our vouchers for one day passes then upgrading to the Fl 4 Day Dream pass. So our total cost for tickets will be around $170 :cool1:
