so here I sit enjoying my $36/lb cup of coffee

Yikes!!:scared1: And I thought my $14/lb habit from Gevalia was bad...I won't complain about that any more!:hyper:

hrh_disney_queen, did you order your Givallia coffee of the t.v. commercial or magazine ad? How much did it cost you for each order and didn't you get a free gift with it? I always see the commercial and was thinking of ordering it for my friend once.

Hi mommytotwo..

I have soooo many of those free gift items from Gevalia-about 5 coffee pots, some canisters, coffe mugs...We used to just take advantage of the introductory offer we saw in magazine ads (never saw one on TV) and then cancel after receiving it because I thought the coffee was too expensive. They would always allow us to get another introductory offer again, and again, and again...(it came with a pound or two of coffee, I think) Finally, after having so many coffee pots-NO MORE....but I HAD to have my coffee..so they finally hooked me. I think the introductory package is around $15-$20 now, I'm not sure..but well worth it, and the company is great, so you can actually cancel it as soon as you want (If you want) with no problems...

I really like their regular coffee because it is not strong like Starbucks or Pete's (that stuff tastes like burnt tar to me.) I think I have had your Kona and liked it...? Is it strong like Starbucks, or more of an easy drinking coffee..? Maybe I don't want to know. At $36/lb for Kona, my $14 Gevalia delivered right to my door is a steal!::yes::

p.s. One of the times we got a 12 cup Krups coffeemaker ($40 in the store) because they must have run out of their brand...;)

Thank you for the info. hrh_disney_queen. Sounds like the free gifts are a good thing. I will keep Gevalia coffee in mind for a gift the next time. I wonder if the shipping to Hawaii is different then shipping it within the U.S. Mainland.

I'm not sure how strong the Kona Coffee is cause I don't drink coffee, but you can make it strong or weak with the amount of water you put in it. I do like the aroma that it gives off, and Kona Coffee candy and ice cream.
