So has it been confirmed that On-Site guests get one FOTL on FJ?

I keep reading all these trip reports about on site guests waiting in line for over an hour. I thought on site guests had one FOTL privilege on FJ? Or has that changed?

We're not going till October, so I'm hoping things are a bit simpler then

As of right now there is no FOTL offered on FJ for anyone including onsite guests. Onsite guests are permitted 1 hour early entry into the WWoHP though. Im sure in the future an express pass line will be made avaiable but currently it is not offered. There is however a single rider line that does cut wait times significantly if members of your party are willing to split up and ride separately.

My DH wasn't too happy about this when I told him last night. I had to show him this thread and assure him that if we go at park opening then back to WWoHP in the evening, we will be fine.

DS just wants Butterbeer. He was chanting "Mmmmmmmm butterbeer" all last night. DD just wants a wand.

I just want my family to be happy!

Just answered my own question. Ugh!!! The Infinitus convention is there 7/15-18. I was expecting it be be crowded but now I am expecting it to be insanely crowded. They are having a special separate ticketed event on 7/17 from 10PM to 1AM and are allowed to enter the parks at 2 PM. Definitely a day to avoid IOA!!!

Yeah, Infinitus are the HARD-CORE Potter folks. Some of them are the academic types, but many are the ones into "fandom". They'll come in costume, if it's permitted, and they'll examine every detail of every building and every display. They'll even decide whether or not the food tastes "as it should". And it won't be just on the day of the special ticket event, which is the 16th.

Those four days are going to be extra-busy (but possibly quite interesting) at WWoHP.

The morning of 7/16 might be the best time to visit during those days, because the tickets to the special event aren't good for admission until 2pm. There will be some attendees that will burn a day's admission that morning, but probably less than the other days.

Infinitus will have lectures and events in the conference center at RPR most days of the event, so that will keep the crowds from being insanely crazy. I think Infinitus was expecting about 1000 attendees this year, but never heard what the current count is.

Many of my HP friends are going to this, and yes, they are Potterholics, and uber fans, but they aren't scary, so no worries.
