So, has anyone's child watched LazyTown yet?

I'll admit, the music video I posted for it last week looked REALLY scary, but the show is pretty interesting. Maddy loves it...and I have to admit my bf and I get a kick out of Robbie Rotten. It's a pretty good show for pre schoolers if you haven't watched it...it's on Nick Jr. every day at 10:30 and 11 a.m.

Yeah, my boys watched it earlier this week. They seemed to enjoy it, I think they thought it was a little strange though. I thought it was VERY strange!

We watched it today. I thought it was a little weird but I see the point of it and my 3 y.o. loved the music. Robbie Rotten reminds me a little of Jim Carrey....the crazy voice and movements.

I googled it and it turns out that the main character, Sportacus, is also the creator. He's from Iceland and there's a whole business behind it...and boy can that little girl belt out a tune.

I predict that this guy will be the next Blues Clues "Steve" for all us stay-at-home moms!!!!! ;)

My DD3 loves this show and she has never been crazy about a TV show before. I mean she like Dora & things like that but not like how she likes this show. My DS6 thinks it is funny. They both crack up while they watch it.

I agree the little girl has a great voice.

My daughter loves it and has from the first commercial she saw! She also had to go right to NickJr.com and play the LazyTown game. It's pretty cute. You choose a character and then some dance moves and dance along with them. I like it better then the other kids computer games she plays cause it gets her up and moving.

My kids already seem to be devoted fans, but I guess I haven't paid close enough attention if I missed out on a new "Steve" in my life. Sure do miss him...

DD4 LOVES, LOVES, LOVES it!!! She saw a commercial first & loved that too.

Younger DD likes it. I don't really like it though.

We're watching this for the first time this morning. Belle loves it!

I saw pictures of Sportacus - he can be my new Steve anyday :faint: puckerup: And that's saying a lot because I LOVE Steve! Boo is even watching it, thinks it's weird, but the pink hair girl is cute  :smooth: :earseek:

What is this passive aggressive attack on JOE????? LOL I like Joe just fine and Lazy Town is not my cup of tea... Of course My DS is watching Booh Bah so who am I to talk!

Am I the only one who wants to see Sportacus without a shirt? ;) (oh, and the mustache of course)

Seriously, though, I don't understand why they have a few real people and the rest puppets. I don't like puppet shows. It's a weird show, but still kind of cute. I like how they try to get the kids up and moving.

The 3 yo boy I watch watched it today. He seemed to like it, but I thought it was strange.

We all know that Joe isn't nearly as smart as Steve! I mean really the clues figure themselves out! ;)

Lazytown is ummmmm interesting I guess. Belle likes it and anything that gets her up and dancing I'm good with! :teeth: But that Magnus guy is not hard on the eyes! Joe on the other hand wears way more makeup than I do!

Now Boohbah, holy crud that show is weird! Belle likes it too but never gets to watch it. We have an hour that's the Teletubbies and Boohbah - it's the munchkin prozac power hour! The woman who created those has got to be on something.:scared1:

LOL - think I can scare DH and tell him I have a long lost twin???:rotfl: :duck:

My 3 1/2 year old son watched it today. I just asked him if he liked it and he said, "Yes, there was a mean guy and a lot of nice guys. It was good." Kind of a non-committal review.

Though, when prompted to choose, he said he liked LazyTown better than Dora. Dora has always been one of his favorites.

I didn't really pay attention to the show - I'll watch more closely next week.
