So happy!....Just checked in at Windsor Hills

This neighborhood is on my short list for our May 2014 trip. LOVE the pictures.

Thanks!

Just a quick question. Do the condo buildings have elevators?

We are home from our vacation and had a great time at our condo. We agree that we would love to try one of the monorail resorts one day, but maybe only for a partial stay for our MK days. Not having to deal with the TTC would be nice. But, we LOVED driving to all of the other parks. Very easy in and out and no problems at all. We also did a Super Target run and had breakfast and lunch back at our condo most days. Saved a lot of money and helped us cool off as well. We would definitely stay there again.

Reading your comments was a great way to start my Monday morning. Thanks for posting it! We will be renting a townhouse in Windsor Hills starting Monday, June 17th....2 weeks!!! :cool1: It is our first time off site so, even though I am excited, I am still a little nervous about staying there. In particular, I was wondering if getting back and forth to the parks is as easy as people claim. Sounds like it is though. We love our mid day break and would prefer to keep it if we could.

Don't be nervous, Windsor Hills is awesome! We also booked through Florida Sun Vacation Homes and found everything to be exactly as it appeared in the photos, and the management company was very professional, and very easy to work with. I wouldn't hesitate to book through them again and Windsor Hills is definitely our first choice if/when we return for a family trip. If it ends up just being DH and I instead of the whole family, maybe I'll splurge and stay onsite for once, but for the whole family it will be a 3 bdrm condo for sure.

We checked into our townhouse yesterday and wish we had stayed at Windsor Hills sooner! Absolute bliss to have so much room :)

We just got back from our first ever trip last Wednesday. We stayed in a 3 bedroom condo at Windsor Hills and it was great! We booked through magicalvacationhomes.com

Getting to and from the parks was a breeze. We loved being dependent on ourselves and not the buses. We were in our front door in under 15 minutes for every park, once we got to our car. AK was 7 minutes!! MK is the only park that takes a little longer because you have to deal with the TTC. Totally and completely worth it though. :)

Yay, reading all these positive things makes me so excited for our October trip! We're renting a 3 bdrm townhouse from vrbo.com, and I am a little nervous about staying off-site for the first time. Last year, though, we crammed two adults, and a 7,4, and 1 year old in one value room, and I am thrilled with the idea of so much more space for less money.

Question for whoever posted about renting a stroller from Baby Wheels Orlando...did they just leave it outside your condo door? I'm having trouble finding a company that will leave it without us being present, but I'd love for it to be delivered before we get there late afternoon. Is that how they work?

Oh, we highly recommend Baby Wheels!! They dropped the city mini double off at our condo about 9am on our arrival day. We couldn't check in until 4pm, but the housekeeping brought the stroller in when they came to clean, so it was inside waiting for us, no questions or issues. And on the day we left, we were just told they would pick it up by 9am and to leave it outside the front door. Done. Very easy and we loved our stroller. They provide a free rain cover which was definitely needed. We also liked the parent console for drinks and the small cooler held a few juiceboxes and applesauce pouches for the boys.
