I just got finished booking CRT for April 3rd. It was an answered prayer! Our daughter is turning 6 and we decided last week to head to WDW for our first visit. (Well, hubby and I both went when we were kids, but that's 20years ago.) All the other character meals were booked and I prayed. The lady on the phone was astonished! So awesome!
Anyway, I'm wondering if the personalized cakes are worth it? She gave me the number for the cake line. We did this once at Disneyland and the cake was AWEFUL! I know that WDW has a better reputation food wise, so I thought I'd ask for some bday cake reviews.
Thanks so much,
Jodie

CRT is one of the venues where you're eligible to order the chocolate slipper dessert, which is very popular. It must be pre-ordered from the Grand Floridian Bakery I believe.

My daughter was six on our last visit and absolutely loved our lunch at CRT. She had a BBB session a couple of hours earlier and was dressed up as Ariel. To my surprise Ariel was one of the princesses at the meal. Our CM, David I believe, even sang Happy Birthday to my daughter and two girls at an adjacent table.

Oh - and I agree that the slipper would be a better choice. It's a little different and works well with the castle theming.
