You all need to go over to AllEars.net and read the review of the opening and watch the video of the opening ceremony. It is funny. First, the brunette Italian lady is Dee Vee Cee. How many of you recognized her? Her squeal early in the tape gives her away, along with several other identical Dee Vee Cee'isms.
Then Dan Cockerell sounds like he was handed a scrpit he has had no chance to preivew. He was barely able to read through it. (Perhaps it was a prompter in the desk, and there was glare on the screen?) Then watch Nick Valenti's totally confused reaction to Minnie.
SO funny. He had a little trouble reading too, but less than Dan.
Looks like a beautiful restaurant. Too bad they didn't follow through and create a counter service option in Italy as well. Anyway, I will be trying it next trip.
