So Frustrated! 172 Days out and no reservations available anywhere we want to go!!

I would check on it, unless you really want to sleep in. I had no trouble getting my reservations, but others did. I think it's honestly just hit or miss on when people are able to book and how long their vacations are/how flexible their daily plans.

It's just 45 minutes earlier than I would get up anyway but I'll have to do it each day since I'm staying offsite and it will be 180 exactly - no "plus" days. We typically eat dinner offsite so it's really just BOG lunch and maybe a couple EPCOT dinners like Via Napoli or Biergarten.

I can understand your frustration. We have been trying without any success to get Akershus for any time, of any day ,with no luck as of yet. I'm starting to think our only chance for Akershus will be with a CP Dining Package whenever they come out.
We did however luck out and caught some open times for BOG which wasn't even on our to do list but now it may be.
We also picked up some Sci-Fi times which for some reason have been few and far between.
Even Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique times are all booked up at the MK when i call 180 days in advance immediately when the phone lines open up at 7:00.
I feel like i need to hire a personal vacation secretary to make all these phone calls, sit on hold, stalk the mobile app for openings, etc...
It can get frustrating but keep on checking and you may get lucky.

I received my 4th text alert from TP in the middle of the night. BOG dinner, but 9:30pm is too late for us and dessert only won't work if we want to see the fireworks.

It works, though. I'm trying the next time with a more specific time. I definitely think it's worth doing if you're really wanting something.

Also, people load up on ADR's and hold them until they make their FPP's. So around 70 days from the start of your trip (since 60 day +10 applies to FPP's) people will finalize their plans and (slowly) start cancelling ADR's. It may not happen immediately.

I have made numerous trips to WDW, all in the summer, several during free dining, and I have never failed to get an ADR at a restaurant I wanted to go to. Just be persistent.

There is no such thing as FP+ +10. The plus ten does not exist for FP, only for ADR's. Everyone staying onsite can make FP+ at 60 days out, those offsite can make them at 30 days out
We got everything we wanted for late Oct - early Nov at 180 + 10, including the tiny Beaches and Cream. I think after Thanksgiving is the CP reservations being held at this point

On the 60th day before you arrive you can make FPP's for that day plus up to the next 10 days even though those days are more than 60 days out. That is why I told OP to start looking 70 days out. Someone staying for 10 days will be making 10 days worth of FPP's and may start cancelling ADR's they don't need.

I didn't say that. People will make FPP's 70 days out because they are staying 10 days. They might start cancelling ADR's at this time. So OP should start looking 70 days from her first day for ADR's she can't find.

Today was my 180 day mark. I got up at 6am to get online and make my ADRs. I was shocked that I couldn't get CRT dinner or Garden Grill Bfst. All tables gone???? How is this possible? Even the Plaza in MK had only one available time. California Grill only had a 9pm. Doesn't make any sense.

I haven't had that many difficulties with getting ADR last year or the year before. It seems especially difficult this time

I went online right at 180 days and couldn't get CRT or BOG which were our top 2 we wanted! One of my main reasons to go were to eat at CRT

Strangely, our 180 was today. Online at 0600 and got absolutely everything at the time we wanted. I'm shocked. Not only has it never been this smooth, we're going to be there during free dining. Ohana, Crystal Place, Akershus....all of them.

I actually told my wife that it was too easy and it was making me nervous.

My clock rang at 5:30 this morning so I would be ready right at 6:00 for making my APRs. I had my iPhone and DH laptop ready to go. credit card was already loaded. Right at 6:00 on my iPhone I had a 5:30pm BOG APR and was going through the steps when I kept getting a warning that something was missing from my payment page. I still don't know what was missing. Frustrating. I did jump to the laptop and got a 4:35 time which I had no problem reserving. So I did get all the APRs that I wanted and times were good. Now all I need is the CP package, the ROL package and a dessert party. I believe we're going to do the dessert party at EPCOT if they're doing it in December.
