So Frustrated! 172 Days out and no reservations available anywhere we want to go!!

Nov 5-10 is Jersey Week, which usually brings high crowds!

Exactly that -- Jersey Week books hard and fast at 180+. Ya snooze, ya lose out to folks from Joisey.

They are absolutely holding back availability at many places. I have been told this by three different DSS CM's. There is no way all of those restaurants are booked to capacity every single day at every time in October and November.

I honestly think 30-60 days out, the availability opens up again - people start canceling and making specific plans. We went in April / super busy time, and I made our trip reservations late (February) - we were able to get most all ADRs we wanted (even at hard places), though, not at the perfect time. Then, using the reservation tools, we were able to to get the exact times we wanted in the 2 weeks right before our trip. Next time we go, I'm going to get what we can at 180 days - then try to work on it 30-60 days out - then again with the reservation tools closer to date. I know it must be frustrating, but I think it will work out the closer you get. Good luck!

Seems they are holding back in the more popular places and releasing a few times here and there, just keep checking.

Probably.... if you don't see anything tomorrow don't worry just yet. Give it time, like others have said people usually cancel their extra reservations a couple months out once they're able to make their fast pass selections

Same here. All the restaurants we want to eat are unavailable and I'd believe BOG - but Raglan Road on a Monday Night, Sci-Fi for lunch on a Thursday and Chef Mickeys/Ohana breakfasts not available at all for the 3 days we are there in 6 months time? All seems rather strange. Never used to be this difficult..

Im so glad I found this thread.... we were able to book today...and really got nothing we wanted ..... I mean not even Biergarten!!! Like I honestly wanted to cry..... its been a while since weve been to the world which has been like 5 years we had no issue....to me it seems like they are just trying to make it more difficult!!!

Def keep trying every day! Our ADR day was last Friday and yesterday was the first day crystal palace tables started showing up. And I wasn't able to get any BOG reservations Friday but yesterday I got 8!

Something is definitely weird this year. I have never in all my past trips (which is a lot) not been able to get ADRs at 180 out. BOG and CRT are understandable....but Skipper Canteen, Garden Grill, Tusker House, and Sci Fi? All of those are usually easy to get and all of them this year had extremely limited, if any, availability. So weird.

I understand your frustration. This whole ADR Olympics thing is horrible. I remember everything was Day Of for reservations. You want to eat breakfast at Crystal Palace, you had to call at something like 6AM that morning.

I agree, we have gone a few times in the last few years (at even busier times when when we are going this time) and have NEVER had this much difficulty. I am not sure why things are so challenging this time. The worst part is that the CM on the dining reservation lines have NO idea why. Every person I talked to would say "yes, everything seems to be all booked up". and when I tell them that is just seems to be impossible when I am booking at 6am 180+10 out for something that is not usually booked up and then they say.. "well, people are booking their trips for the holiday season which can always be busy(heard this MANY times)". But then when you talk to someone at Guest Relations they say there is no availability because not everything is released (some has since been released but on an unknown schedule). It all just seems a little odd. It is almost like Disney is trying out something (without telling any of their CMs).

Right. I have looked from now (5-23-2017) until the middle of November, which is as far as you can book now, and nothing at the same restaurants. It just list the same restaurants under the heading "47 Restaurants with No Availability", month after month.

I'm so frustrated that we're 172 days out and there are already no reservations available for all of the restaurants we want to go to. We're going from November 5-10 and can't believe that everything is already filled up!

If we can't find any of the good table service restaurants with availability we may cancel our Dining Plan.

Sorry to vent but I'm just so bummed!

They probably haven't released all the reservations yet. Where are you trying for?

I got one reservation for 4ppl, and two reservations for 2ppl. Times are a little bit apart so my group will need to split up but at least we have something... only think that sucks now is they changed the parade time and our lunch wouldn't allow us to see the parade... ughhh

We just decided to go in October and I can't find a single ADR in MK on some days during our trip. I'm considering whether we should bag the trip -- perhaps it will be crazy crowded.

Looking at October 21-October 27.

Do you have to eat in the magic kingdom? Are you looking for something specific? Time? Amount of people? Character experience? I just looked for October 21 and found a variety of options. But I'm about trying a new restaurant everytime!
