Of course the Disney world web sight was acting up at 7 am. by the time I got on all the FOP fast passes where booked for the days I am visiting (along with other rides like the mine train). What are the recommended strategies?

Keep checking. There have numerous reports of FP openings. Otherwise RD and end of the night might be your best ideas. Hang in there and don't give up... :)

How long into your trip were you trying to get FOP? Just curious.

Keep an eye on park hour changes in the month or so leading up to your trip. If hours change, they add in new FP supply for those new hours a day or so later.

I am looking at all days we are staying (11/25-29). We are flexible as to what park we are in to assure we can experience rides and attractions we have never been on.

Sorry for all the Qs. Were you making these today or yesterday? Your 60 day window would have opened yesterday.

Yesterday I was able to get FoP FPs for three people for day 64 for 6:55 - 7:55. I was panicking too. My first priority was SDD but when that failed I tried for FoP and lucked out. For people with short trips getting the premium FPs is an ordeal.

Wow! I guess we really lucked out. We scored two FP's for FOP for our upcoming Columbus Day weekend trip. We weren't sure how it would go as we were oversees on our selection day and couldn't get to the site until pretty late in the day (Fla. time). Not wanting to make you feel any worse ,,, just an illustration that it's a crap-shoot and you never know. Keep checking but plan on trying to get on late in the day ... close to closing time. We have a FP window that ends at 6:15 so we are planning on going on the ride, catching a quick drink at the Nomad Lounge then cueing up for another go at it at about 7:15 - 7:30. We did that last Spring and had a great time in line getting to know the other riders and enjoying the theming of the cue. It was still a bit of a wait but we enjoyed it and went home after the ride very happy with our choice.

This. Though at this point it's water under the bridge. Look periodically to see if something shows up, but at this point your best bet is either rope drop, park closing or get a FP+ day of. For 7DMT, getting a same day FP+ is pretty easy...assuming you're not a huge party. FoP is hit or miss.

Just keep checking. I couldn't get FoP at 60 days, but got FPs for 4 of us at 42 days. Didn't love the time but was happy and then at 41 days the perfect time popped up. Don't lose hope and keep checking!

This will not spoil our trip, just a little bump in the road. We have not been back to WDW since before the introduction of FP+. We have been going to DLR. We feel like rookies again.

Now you just keep checking for better options or times to open up.
Or you just relax and enjoy what you have booked.

I agree with "keep checking" I got my FOP fast pass at 6:00AM CST and decided it might be to early. So I went in the next day and got a different time. Just keep changing your time like 9:30 if nothing, change it to 10:00 AM and then click back on the Morning option and then back to the times. I bet you will eventually see one. It may be an evening one or late afternoon, but you should see one come up eventually.

Those are the days we are there too. I can't believe I forgot to make FP+ on Tuesday. That has NEVER happened. I made them today and didn't get what I wanted. But we are rope droppers so don't usually have a problem getting to do everything we want during our stay. There is also only 2 of us so makes it a little easier to get same day FP+.

I am in the same boat as you. My FP day was suppose to be tomorrow, but found a late flight and cheap all star room so we are coming in a day earlier -- still made our 11/26-12/1 trip tough for getting FP for SDD, FOP and MT. I think the MVMCP makes it a little tougher and i also wonder that now that they are allowing the good neighbor hotel guest to use the 60 day window that puts a bunch more people into the pool who once were not.

I was only able to get FoP at 66 days. SDD at 67. I am booking for a party of 7, though.

I couldn't get 7DMT at all, all week. I am there 11/26 - 12/3

Set your alarm clock for very early and be early to rope drop.

Actually you will hear two strategies, rope drop or end of the day. I am a morning person so I prefer rope drop. When I want to ride FoP I arrive at the park 90 minutes before official park opening and end up near the front of the line. I have been able to ride FoP and then Navi River and be back out in the park by 15-20 minutes after opening. This past summer I made a quick trip south and rope dropped FoP, then Navi River, ITTBAB, Dinosaur, then a FP for the Safari, and was third in line for an early lunch at the Flametree BBQ. A very productive morning.

And keep checking for FPs... you never know.

We got lucky last week finding 2 FOP fast passes at 6am on our AK day. We got up early to rope drop and I checked the app and was able to grab them for 9am. People change plans last minute and you might be able to get them.
We also rode it again later on the same day at park close with less than an hour wait. Posted wait time was 85 min.

We are there the same days. I was online at 6 AM and still didn’t get FOP or SDD. I’ll just keep trying. Good luck to you!

We were at WDW last year for the first 2 weeks of November.

I initially had 2 FOP FPs late in the trip.

Then hours were extended and I managed to get 7 passes at various times over the 2 weeks. And I could have gotten more, but there are three other parks :-)

There’s still hope.

And yes, 7 trips through Pandora on FOP still wasn’t enough.

We are there the same dates. I was really disappointed that those hard to get rides were not available for fp's on day 64+. Does not bode well for crowd predictions. Obviously not a low week like we'd anticipated.
