So excited, Veteran's Weekend/end of F&W/Wine and Dine WL came thru!

I was lucky enough to get 9 straight days (at 7 months out) for a 1 bedroom at BC for 10/30-11/8, but had to WL 11/8-11/10 at BC and BW. We are going with 3 other families to do the Wine and Dine 1/2 that weekend and after staying at AKV for the race last year, I really wanted to be within walking distance this year. After stalking my member page daily, I took a break for the holiday weekend and just logged on to find my BW WL came through! Even if we have to switch, it will be awesome to stay near our friends and walk back after the race. Don't give up on waitlisting....it works out!

I own at SSR, which I love, but I have decided to try some of the other DVC resorts if I can. It is good to know that you have a chance to book the BC or BW even during the busy seasons if you persist. I have BLT booked for the fall and can't wait to try it.
