So Excited! Trip is so close and I think planning finished!

I'm flying down on Sunday and still haven't secured park reservations for Monday and Tuesday. It's more of a stressful "can't sleep" rather than an excited one. Plus, it seems like Tale of the Lion King is still not running which was one of the main reasons I choose to do Disneyland rather than Disney World next week.

Add on the fact that for some reason I can't seem to even be able to check for 1st show Fantasmic packages today and it's turning out to be a bit of a nightmare planning scenario.

What kind of ticket do you have? It looks like DCA is available for Monday with a one-park ticket, and either DCA or DL for Monday with a hopper.

I am 3 sleeps away from my trip starting, 5 sleeps from checking into our rental house and 6 sleeps from being in DL itself! I'm the big planner, and while I still have a lot of food shopping and packing of everything to do, most of the planning and preparing steps are done. If anyone is needing some inspiration for their own planning or just wants to check out what I've done, I have a link to my pre-trip report in my signature.

Thanks so much! I've been a bit nervous about trying a new airport. I lived 15 minutes from LAX for 8 years so wanted to avoid it at all costs. I had enough of it when I lived there.

BUR was fine. Deplaned on tarmac and walked in. 5 minutes to baggage claim. 20 minutes after landing we we’re getting into a Lyft and we were at Sheraton Universal 45 minutes after landing.

I’ve really enjoyed following along with your planning - it’s given me lots of ideas myself (particularly for packing and organizing kids!)

I've got one more day left to pack, and I feel anything BUT organized Was trying to stage all the things tonight that can be packed first because we'll need them last, when we get all the way to the rental house, and discovered... my middle children had NOT given me enough clothes, because they hadn't brought all their dirty laundry down earlier this week. So - another load of laundry, and I'll have to pack the suitcase in the morning.

I did manage to get the food stuffs for the house packed up in a couple boxes, and make up snack bags for the kids for the drive. We will replenish them in El Paso during our rest break.

So tonight I end with a million things started and nothing quite all the way finished, but I have all day tomorrow to finish up. Trying to keep my excitement but tonight just feeling overwhelmed.
