So looking forward to my trip in April... trying to get things scheduled, so has anyone done Mickeys backyard barbeque? also want to do a firework cruise looking to see if anyone would like to split the cost of a boat.... cannot wait to be in the Happiest place on earth...

Haven't done the BBQ, we usually opt for the Hoop Dee Doo if we plan on doing one of the on site entertainments at the Fort. They did update the menu last year at the BBQ and from what I heard it was greatly needed and has improved the opinions somewhat. Maybe someone who has attended lately will chime in.

When did you visit the Fort last if you don't mind my asking? You doing the cabins or bringing your own "resort" with you?

If you haven't already, hop on over to the "where are the April People" thread. April can't come soon enough for me!

Done both HDD and Mickeys BBQ. The BBQ is great for kids that like to interact with the characters as dancing is the big thing there.

Food is pretty much the same at both and both offer free beer and wine. HDD is great fun too, more for older kids and adults. I would do both again.

The Bar-b-que is great. The food is good and plentiful. But be warned the kids go nuts dancing with the characters. If you have kids they will have a great time. The free beer and wine is good if you're into that too.
