I just booked 5 nights for next December - just hubby and I. We will be celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. We have never been to WDW without kids. We have never been to any Disney park without kids since before our oldest was born in 1988.

Really excited about this.

We leave on Jan 31st for 5 nights without the kids... to celebrate our 20th anniversary. It's been 11 years since we went anywhere without the kids.

We go for the first time in 20 years without our daughter in June. It's our 25th anniversary.

Yay for all of you! DH and I just returned last Wed. from our 2nd kid-free Disney trip and it was awesome :thumbsup2 This one was 5 nights and our first one in March of last year was 4. A trip with no kids is so much different in a really good way! I started my trip report about our one last week if you'd like to take a look, the link us in my signature. Have fun planning :goodvibes

That is so awesome, I know you guys will have a blast. DH and I went for a long weekend once without the kids (kids were on their annual week long trip to visit the grandparents during the summer....they still have no idea DH and I did this), it was one our best trips to date. We did the Keys to the Kingdom tour and we really stopped and enjoyed everything that Epcot, especially WS, had to offer. We didn't have to worry about running to different rides that the kids want to ride, we were at a more at ease, slow pace. Funny thing, a year later while DH and I were in Las Vegas, we decided to go off and spend the day and 1 night in Anaheim to go to DLR (kids knew about the Las Vegas trip but not the DLR part of it, I know we are horrible parents :rolleyes1). Again that was a really really fun getaway. Next week I will be leaving to head to WDW with my BFF for a 4 night stay, our kiddos will be staying home with the DHs (couldn't get them out of school and yes they know about this trip) and we are super excited about it.

My husband and I went 3 years ago for our 25th wedding anniversary without kids and had the best trip ever! Just kicked back and did whatever whenever. Make sure you wear your anniversary buttons. I can't tell you how many perks we got without even asking. Ask for them at the desk when checking in. We are going alone again April 27 thru May 2 staying at Coronado Springs!

We arrive on May 14th for 6 nights/7 days. Will be our 6th trip and first one without our boys. We are so excited! We have a few things planned, but are just going to wing it mostly. Going to WDW has always been our favorite vacations and we've talked for years about doing it without kids. Let the adult trip begin ;)

Congrats Jen. We've done it twice now and are leaving Friday for a kid-less trip with another adult couple.
It's fantastic. Much less stuff to carry. Eat when and where you want. (But Daddy..... German food is gross.....lol).
Skip the character stuff (although my wife made me stand in line for a Jasmine photo on the last trip). Get up early, stay up late. Have late afternoon cocktails in World Showcase while strolling around the lake with no mad rush to get to the next ride. You will experience these and many other wonderful things. Enjoy!
