I AGREE WITH bigsis1970 vacation is what you make of it.. If it's quality time your looking for, does the room or resort make a diff. especially if your not going to spend that much time in the room? We've stayed in deluxe, moderate, and yes value..Ive loved all my stays because of the memories we've made. We stayed last year in POP 50's building right by the lake..saw Epcot fireworks..was one of the best memories weve made..mainly because it was a mom and daughters vacation (I was funding the trip so I had to watch my budget).

But I do also agree w/the others on this board; if you can afford it pay the xtra and treat her POFQ, its an awesome resort..You can show her what a great daughter she has raised..

You should definitely upgrade. We are disney world fanatics and would pretty much stay anywhere in order to go...but not at the all-stars or pop.

I think it's a personal choice. It's a much better deal with the free dining to stay at a value resort. I can't imagine choosing not to go rather than stay at a value resort!! We've stayed at POP many times and have never had a complaint. I was surprised at POFQ - the rooms are not much bigger, the bathrooms are definately not any bigger. Granted the grounds are nicer, but if you're not hanging out at the resort, who cares? You could stay at least 2 extra nights at POP for what you'd be paying at POFQ. I guess I just like to get the most I can for my money - you'll have fun regardless. The trips I've made with my daughter over the last few years are priceless!!
