So do you list your ACTUAL weight on your driver's license?

True confession time. In times past I would avoid the scale as much as possible so I was almost never sure what my actual weight was. I just put 200 pounds on my license even though I knew I was way way over that. I renewed my license this past May and put 199 on it even though I'm still a few pounds above that weight. I know I'll get there shortly so I didn't feel bad. It made me feel kinda good actually to realize that I would be under 200 pounds for the first time in probably my whole adult life.

I figure when I get to goal, I'll just go have another picture taken and then I won't be embarassed to put the real weight down on the application.

So anyone else want to share? Do you put your real weight on your driver's license? Inquiring minds wanna know!

Thank Heavens Massachusetts doesn't ask for weight.

I do however lie about my height. ;)

I had to look at mine  yes, I lied I admit it!!! I was 10-15 lbs heavier than I claimed when I got my renewal a couple years ago -- and now it say's i'm 5 lbs heavier than I actually am!! once I squeak back down to goal my license will be 10 lbs heavier!! wowser! that's a great thing!!

Let's see... when I first got my license (age 16), I put 180 on the license, but my actual weight was closer to 200. When I renewed a few years ago, I bumped the license up to 200, still about 50 pounds short of reality. I guess I figured 200 was close enough - obviously at 5'3" I wouldn't be "skinny" at that weight.

My license is still incorrect - but for the first time, it's too high, by 15 pounds! I still can't believe it. When I get close enough to goal, I'll probably go in for a new picture... and I'm going to put my real weight down, and be proud!

I had my actual weight before pregnancy on there. But my picture was taken before I was pregnant too. So yes I had my right weight on there just haven't changed it. :)

Interestingly enough, my goal weight is the weight on my drivers license. ;)

Pennsylvania doesn't ask for weight! Thank goodness!!

Didn't need to put weight on my old lic. in CT - didn't ask for it on my new lic. in FL either! I'm very happy it's not there!

I also had to go look. YIKES, what a shocker! I thought it would've said 150, but it says 130, which I haven't been in 17 years! I know at one renewal I was pregnant with DD, and the lady asked if all the info was still the same. I told her my weight was obviously not correct, but she said "we don't change it for things like that". ;) The renewal since that time, I did it by mail, so nothing changes then either.

I too, would say that my license reflects my goal weight, which I'm 20some lbs away from. However, when I WAS 130, I thought I needed to lose weight. The times have changed, and this body has aged. ;) ;)

VERY cute thread!!!! :sunny:

Are you KIDDING? In March when I was renewing, the clerk asked if I wanted to change my weight, I checked it and said NO... I actually have NOT seen that weight in YEARS!! :teeth:

I had my weight listed as 155 pounds when I actually weighed 235! Now I weigh 125-127 and my license still says 155! When am I going to catch up with myself?

I'm finally below my license weight. I recently renewed my military ID card and didn't change the weight because it was correct - at the time. Lost of a few more pounds and now they're both wrong!

It was correct at the time I got it.;) I renewed by mail the last time and they only give you a sticker. I am actually 9 lbs away from what it says so that isn't all that bad is it?;)

I currently hold a NY State drivers license and they do not require you to list your weight. However, the picture on there is when I weighed in excess of 200#. My military ID on the other hand requires weight and I always put it at 180# even though I was about 40 pounds over....don't know why when you see the picture you can clearly see that I was over the weight. Now that I have lost 60# I can not wait to get a new license and ID and put my actual weight on it. We are moving to VA (in 2 days) so maybe I will get a chance when I get my new one.

In the last 25 years, there was about 2 DAYS when I weighed what my license says! And that was some time in the mid 1980's.

I am using it as one of my mid-goals....it's about halfway from where I am right now and where I want to be.

Wait a minute...

I thought that you were supposed to put down the weight you were when you first got your driver's license! Let's see, I was 17 - yep, looks about right to me!

;) ;)

 I am SOOOO glad that Connecticut doesn't ask for weight!!

No doubt though ~ if it did, I'm sure I'd be using a *ballpark* estimate :p
