And if you did, what did you think? I won't post spoilers, just my opinion. We loved the first two but I thought this one was just plain BAD!!!! I am just wondering if anyone else saw it and thought the same thing?

John-Cole went last night and wasn't very pleased with it at all. He said that the 3D wasn't nearly as good as Disney World....lol.

Yes, Floop was in it, however he had really nothing to do with the story. He did a little intro about the 3-d, which was actually much better than the movie. He was only in the movie itself at the very end. Too bad, I like Floop.

I thought that it was AWFUL!!!!!!!!!!! The 3-D didn't really work at all, the story was stupid, and the ending was terrible. It was like they just wanted split second images of previous characters! (i.e. Floop, Gary Giggles, Machete) I thoughht it was over really lame, as did all of the other kids and adults who went to see it together with me.

I basically thought the same as people above, but my dd11 really liked it! She thought it was better than Spy Kids 2, and already wants to buy this when it comes out on video.

I was bored but my 10 year old loved it as did the other kids around his age who were sitting by us. I thought that the story and all of the characters were bad except Ricardo Montalban. He had a silly part but he's always so charming in spite of that.

Bumping this in hopes of some more reviews. My 8 yr. old grandson wants to see it, but sounds like it may be a waste of money? (I wanted to see Finding Nemo or POC).:D

My 9 year old son thought it was great.

Me, speaking as a Mom, I think it's a great movie for a DAD to bring the kid's too ;)

Also, the 3-D is nothing like at the theme parks and those glasses are guaranteed to give you a headache.

At the end of the long LONG 3-D sequence the character even acknowledges this with some comment like "those glasses do a number on your eyes don't they?"

I tell my adult childless friends - go see POTC, you'll love it. Go see Nemo, you'll love it. I'll tell them this movie is good for kid's but a pain (literally) for adults IMHO.

DS's, ages 11 and 7 loved the movie. I fell asleep.

We just saw this yesterday. My DH and I thought it was really bad. My 10 yr. old DS didn't like it. The only one who liked it was my 8 yr. old DS.

When we came out of the theatre, my DH was complaining that he wasn't seeing clearly and he thinks the 3-d glasses messed his eyes up for a few minutes. I didn't have any problems.

It was so dissappointing. It was a movie we were all looking forward to seeing. The story was just awful. We liked the first two Spy Kids movies.

Awful. And forget about wearing those glasses, you'll leave the theatre with a major headache if you try!

Of course, if you are an 8-year old boy you'll love it. This movie should have a rating of OEYOB (only eight year old boys). :p

ByTheSea, my dh would definitely disagree that this is a movie for Dads to go see LOL. He hated it worse than I did!!

I'm glad to know we weren't the only ones who thought it was awful. The glasses were so bad, as they were rolling credits I said "time for a family dose of Motrin???"??? Everyone agreed.

There is one funny part, during the credits with George Clooney, I did enjoy that part!

I'm thinking this is a no go,even with Floop in the mix(a wait till video)
