So Cal tickets

When looking at the So Cal PH tickets, it says that each person can purchase up to 5 of these tickets. Does it matter if the ones using them are from out of state?

We are planning on taking my brother and his fiance to DL next friday night and saturday night. 3 of us are SoCal residents (me, my mom and my dad) but they are from the East Coast.

Can we still purchase those tickets for them to use or not?

Officilly, based on then rules, yes, it matters.

Unofficially, it just depends if they bother checking ID. However, the new policy of printing names on tickets for all passes three days or longer means they are likely to check ID.

Officially you can give tickets as gifts, not sell them or exchange them for something.

So yes you can buy them for your family and friends if you are giving the tickets to them.
