So bummed, neighbor just called, they are putting their house up for sale

Man, they are SO nice and great neighbors! I told them we would do everything we can to keep our yard ( they back diagonal to us) nice etc, as to help any way we can, but dang! They also keep their place pristine, it's beautiful reallly. Sure hope whoever buys it takes care of it just as nicely.
Sigh...we have not had luck with a few of the homes that have sold over the years, new owners leting things run down, not too friendly, so hopefully the new owners will change the trend.Gosh I wish they were staying, but moving to their vacation place as permanent home now, can't say I blame them. Our taxes cost more each month than their entire mtg/tax combined there, and there home is much larger than ours, taxes have got to be killer!

Oh, I hate to hear things like that. We're getting ready to move ourselves and I hope we get good neighbors in our new location.

My sister is trying to sell her house right now, and she has learned all too well what the "unattractive" neighbors can do to potential buyers.

Hopefully you'll get some neighbors just as good as the ones you have now.

Oh, that is a shame.

We have a lot of turnover in our development for some reason because it isn't the type of neighborhood you would expect a lot of turnover. We went through a few year stretch with a lot of "questionable" folks coming in, but now they are leaving and it is swinging back towards more families like us.

Our little corner has been pretty good. Really like all our neighbors. Then our next door neighbors next door had a job relocation. WE were upset about that since they were good neighbors. Only complaint was their landscaping was a bit unkept. They tried, but weren't very good at it. Well, the new people that moved in turned out to be even nicer so we got lucky. Plus he owns a landscaping company so we hope to see some improvements there. They moved in last fall and did rip out the old stuff, but nothing new has gone in yet. I was just talking to the wife this weekend and she was complaining that her DH is getting really busy now with their business so their house is at the bottom of the list. She is pretty embarrassed that their house is the worst landscaped on the block and that is his business She said she will even settle for the misfit plants that fall off his truck
